It looks like a mix between FF9 and FFT. That's really not a bad thing. It feels good to see SE going back with a "classical FF" approach. Don't get me wrong but I didn't feel fuzzy inside looking at FF concept arts since FF9 and FF11. I'll reserve my judgement for when they will release it...
