mic

Pretty much topic. I've shuffled through 3 microphones in the past year, they seem to like to break easily. I don't need a headset included, I don't use headphones for anything as it is. USB preferred, though not required. Thanks in advance

I want to get a mic that works with msn, Ventrilo and skype. What would be my best bet, I have one on my laptop but the quality is so poor it's unbearable. Anyone have a good idea what mic would work with all these 3? I want to be able to talk to a few friends over msn and what not. Any help...

I have a HP Pavilion dv6506ca laptop. My external Mic doesn't work, whenm configing it, the only thing the mic "hears" is what is coming through on my speakers. So I assume it's a stupid Vista default setting. Does anyone have a fix to this? It'd be just swell.
