12/18 Update Datamining

There won't be any info for at least a few hours, unless some freak accident happens.
 
Whitegate K-10, NPC named Ghanraam, tells stats of all new big armor sets.

And for a completely surprising change, S-E has actually made *good* gear.

I know how to activate this, I'm stuck on the "Regester Data" part myself now. Trade a "Clear Chip" to the appratus. I don't know what "Regester Data" is though, I'm leading twords the other colored chips
 
According to some research on the alla forums, you must have completed CoP 8-3, that way you have access to right title.

So the steps
1. Repair the device (in each of the three crags? It's not completely clear)
2. Change your title to "Warrior of the Crystal" via the bard in the Tavnazian Stronghold.
3. Trek to the green telepads in Sky and examine.

At that point you can warp to sky from the Crags, but apparently it's a one way trip. (I figure sky is always a place with a whm or blm willing to be transport however, so it's not a big deal.)

Random question: is this the only example of a title-based requirement?
 
First off, lol @ Valor Surcoat change that isn't a change. XD It's always been 55 Def, just that the text described it incorrectly.

Hauteclaire (Sword, Rare/Ex)
Level 71 PLD/DRK (should probably be GreatSword - but for now, a 11.5 DPS 1-handed sword rocks even more for paladins)
DMG:46 Delay:240 Accuracy+7
Divine magic skill +8
Physical damage taken -7%
Additional effect: Light damage

There's no freakin' way that sword is real. If it is real, there's no way it's going to be possible to attain in any reasonable method. I hate SE for taunting me with this item.
 
Watch the Hauteclaire's Light Damage deal a lot of damage too >_> that thing's sexy as hell, do want!

My money is on it dropping from either a Chemira NM or... Salvage!

It can't be 6th stage relic, since it's level 71...

But 6th stage relic is a great idea, since there's plenty of complains about how certain relics suck compared to current weaponry (ex. Spharai, Bravura). Adding a 6th stage somehow related to Salvage that puts relic weapons truly in a leauge of their own for damage would be a welcome, and almost needed, addition.

The only question I have then is... if it's 100 x 100 dynamis coins.. for the 5th... is the 6th 200 then?
 
You coul;d do something like WEapon Fusion for stage6 Relic

like get this new Sword + the excalibur then some super hard Quest fuses them into Stage6 = "Uber Super Omega Ultimate Sword of pure Awesomeness" (tm)

Idea for quest.. 6 person - BCNM fight verse Almathia, ShadowLord and Bahamut, Promathia, and the Elnarch Brothers ALL AT THE SAME TIME agro one they all atk

Claudhert got what I was thinking. Just like the armors, get a few other peices, plus a metric fuckton of <trade goods>, and whatever imperial gold... It doesn't have to be more expensive than the final relic upgrade, that's been done already.
 
Honestly I prefer the "fusion" anyhow the idea of new gear from Limbus 2 R/E + base item = new shinies. I would much rather go through that trouble in a set area then the HNM scene.

Bravura sucks? What are they comparing it to? Berserker's don't hold a candle to it, the random triple dmg should be averaging at ~400-600 non-crit, and the double light ability is just bonersmashing. I haven't seen reports of Metatron's output but I'm sure it puts Steel Cyclone to shame before counting SC damage.

I'd imagine they're comparing parses to a meater/ridill setup...? I can't see any GA having a hope in hell against that beast.
