here's what i want to know...
where did pere get 60+mil for a knife? The jack ass has always claimed that he only comes into the game for dynamis. So my guess is this "Knife" is for the WHOLE dynamis team right? Because we can't actually expect pere to have that kind of money and spend no time working for it. Dont forget pere that money is your LINKSHELLS not yours. so if the money is "yours" i'd have to say your doing some massive gill buying with this "time" your trying to save.

on another note, you guys only had like 13mil in your bank like a month ago. So suppose you make 8 mill a week (which is totaly blowing it out of proportion in your favor) 8*4=32mil 32mil+13mil=45mil AKA 15mil short of the last "known" sales price that i've heard of. Get your petty cash, lowbie wana be 1337 ass outa here. Thief knife is for the 1337 thfs, not petty scums like you begging for a discount because your to fucking cheap to afford one. 1 thf knife would break you and your ls's bank in 2 and you still wouldn't have enough for one. You talk about being the 1337 and only talking to the true ones. why don't you go suck there cock some more and maybe they will cut you a discount on your pretty knife.

We've been averaging more coins lately. Here's some help with the math boys ;D

Last month the average was around 100-130, now its an average of 150-180. That might help you adjust your math a little. The shell is alot stronger now. We almost cleared Bastok last run and we won Jeuno with well over an hour of farming time left. More coins naturally would equal more money, averaging 30 more coins a run would add up to roughly 1.350M give or take a lil more per run. I think we're up to 30 total runs in the shells history now. That includes the starting period of the shell where we allowed hosting of the runs. Our actual coin collecting runs is probably around 20 runs give or take 3-4 runs. Bear in mind also, when we started, coins were still below the 35k mark, not 40-45k like they are now. That also would allow for the increased amount of money that we have.

Our latest Bastok run gave us 183 coins, selling at the price they did (45k I think Pere had them at) would be 183 x 45000 = 8,235,000 gil off of one run. Even if it were 40k per coin thats still well over 7M. If we had those types of runs consistently.. well.. 8 dynamises in a month.. in the 60,000,000 gil area? Its not that hard to think that we've made over 50M by now :/

Here's a brilliant idea!
So, instead of giving to ONE person why not split that money between everyone? If pere wants a thf knife, camp it himself. Your totally going against your theory of selling the coins. Look at exactly what your doing, your following this animal that thinks he is the 1337 but really its one of two things. Either A) he's screwing all of you out of money (which it sounds like to me) or B) you all have changed the way you think about things.
WHY would you use the LS's money to get PERE a thf knife? He's the puller, doesn't get involved in the action. OK so now you say well another thf will use it... REALLY? So whats your new plan to justifing why you arn't upgrading one of your members relic weapons to make you better as a whole? Instead your going to let this panty waist run around witha 60mil gil knife that YOU ALL GOT FOR HIM, but you know what he thinks... I'm the 1337 Thief and OWNER of you all. Keep edging on his 1st class mind when he's really 3rd class reality.

You guys seriously need to stop overlooking posts just because you don't want to see them.
 
So Peregrine was lying this whole time about paying each member each run out of the coins that were sold? /surprised.

but why should you improve ONE person? who's gonna hold onto that item? seems to me like pere is just out to IMPROVE himself. Keep kissing his toes, maybe he'll buy you a flower for it.
 
More than likely I'm gonna have the knife during the run, other wise another thief whose name I wont be saying because I'm not going to involve him in this will be holding it. After the run it goes back to Daveman. Dave's a BLM. What good will it do him?

Unrelated to the discussion about the knife.
Generally speaking you are as a guild better off to improve one person at a time but for real, rather than improving everyone a little bit at the same time. Of course opinions on this subject vary, but from experience in other MMOs that's what tighly knit raid guilds tend to do.

Please note that this may not apply in this case. Just figured to point out the philosophy behind upgrading one member at a time.

This really makes no sence. You guys are literally inviesting millions in a knife that might or might not help in drops. Then your giving this knife to someone that can't EVER use it, sounds fishy. Hey Daveman, bring that to sky farming and let our thfs use it there. WOW and you say what good will it do him? You guys are one big joke, and watching you try to justify your previous answers is even funnier.

right sculli, but pere doesn't belive in helping one person he'd rather get everyone better money and blah blah blah. Why do you think the whole arguement of selling coins and other stuff came up.

......................wow.. density. And I thought I explained that well enough. Once again, might want to reread Daveman's post on the Auction House thread. This time read the posts before it for some context or something.

Dave will hold the knife when we're not in Dynamis. He wont be using it outside Dynamis. I wont be using it outside Dynamis. Pere or any other LS thf wont be using it outside of Dynamis. It's not bettering any of us at all... It's helping to improve our runs only. We don't want one thf walking around saying 'Ooo look what Invictus gave me!!!'...

drool? my equip is worth more then yours lmao, silly white man, anyways u dont buy your gear and you know you dont so why u tryin 2 front about how good your gear is (which it is i have to admit :D) but you didnt even work for it u got someone to buy it for you, unlike most of us we have to work for our gear
