<3 blu

[Tok]

i unlocked blu the other day just for shits and giggles cause my ls was hypin it up and i kinda like it alot, im at lvl 7 and its addicting as hell to farm spells

dk might take it up a bit

Should take it up, it is fun. Mine is at 52 so far, and was working for radiant breath a bit. There's a lot of flexibility playing Blu too as you can do many things the higher lvl you get.

It is a very fun job. Also, people are finally accepting it in end game. A matter of fact...blu is out spiking almost every job because teh blu's finally realized cannonball needs a def/vit setup. Good luck ^^ hope you take it all the way.

Does it really out-perform Vertical Cleave though? lol, don't want to derail the thread.

I do know exactly how you feel. I was originally undecided between PUP and BLU, didn't want to do BLU cause of the hype, took PUP to 7, tried BLU, and never looked back, lol. The beauty of the job isn't just in its' power, but in its' flexibilty. What other job can set stat bonuses and JT's? Have stun AND cure 4, and be able to do good TA and SA dmg w/o tp?

Yeah it can out damage it by a long shot. However, the only way to really out preform it, is having Prot 4-5, a def build (try to get about 330 def without buffs, make sure your stackin the str and vit as well), cocoon, and minne x2. That brings you around 880ish def, with about +50 str and +25 vit you can put out some really nice numbers on gods/hnm.

I think that pretty much explains it.
(btw thats not me lol, hopefully someday though >.>)
