Ok just letting you guys know i had my first blu ray issue today. I picked up Starship Troopers last night because it is made of win. Popped it in today and the load screen appears. The loading bar fills up and 5 minutes later... No change... Just stuck at the load screen. I researched...

Looking for a good BLU guide, ranging from equipment to how to obtain the spells.

Ok, so I just started really working on my BLU. Only lvl 11 now, but I'm trying to get all the moves out of the way as soon as I can. So I'm doing my research, and of course come upon the Beast Weakness Chart. Now... I know about this thing, but never really took the time to look at it... cause...

Currently my BLU mage is lvl 55 and soon I will be XPing in the Aht urghan area. The new signet has spoiled me and I am up for suggestions or tips on maximizing my TP and MP output in these areas. I am thinking that I may be able to burn most tp during a fight and rest after. Should I even rest...

Obviously I can't stop talking about blue mage since...I know little in comparison to the rest of the jobs Made this thread for 40-75 starting at lv 40 since thats when we start to get the more powerful spells. Post the traits you feel are the most useful for what you do in a exp pt, solo, or...

Im unaware of any thread that has been made that discusses this, although Im sure there is one somewhere, but Im not gonna bother digging it up/looking for it. Now on to business. Im busy leveling BLU, and Im in my 60's now, which seems to be a good spot to start experimenting with SJ's. From...

I recently hit the 50's, but ever since I hit 49, I simply couldnt get a pt. Reason? I have two. Either Not a lot of players have jobs at this lv (which I think is right) or people just dont want BLU, period. At 49, I decided I would run to Gustav and try to soro (actually duo with NPC...

I never gave this item much thought, but I notice even now, that I can reach 100tp+ pretty much faster then CA is up, and I don't have any haste/doubleattack/tripleattack gear yet, lol. Do you guys (BLUs) think its worth it to merit down this timer? Btw: I am not 75 as of yet, but there is...

I've been experimenting some with BLU spells. Basically, a lot of people say our elemental spells are useless because they have horrible MP/DMG ratio. Perosnally, I'd say they're not. melee spells, too, are bad if you're not correctly geared for them. So I've been experimenting a little. Heat...

When you start a self skill chain.. does it have to start with a weapons skill or can you start with a blue spell?

I was looking up BLU Spells while at the office and came up with this spell. Then I started thinking what it could bring to End-Game BLU (since 1,000 Needles is worthless untill we max Magic Accuracy Merits). The spell: http://twpa.net/ffxi/spells/detail.php?id=402 Do you think it will stop...

I've never been too saavy on the Outer Horutoto ruins. They were never very interesting to me, and aside from having to have to do a mission or two down there, I avoided them like the plague. But oh no! Bludgeon is an awesome ability. I have to go here to get it? Therein lies the problem. I...
