blu

just wondering

I'm here playing my RL friends BLU character on another server camping Soulflayers for a soulflayer cape or something like that which desynth into Imperial Silk Cloth which is needed for BLU AF. Wowzer, how do they expect new players whose first main job is BLU to EVER get this? This thing...

Eh I know its not much but I finally got it done Thanks to Chiimi, for getting this done! And no she didn't violate me, cuz I'm an elf:) (maybe its because i didn't die lol) Hope that pic is large enough, I'm still trying to figure out a way to blow it up with Gimp

Well, after a horrible experience with a PLD tank earlier today, we ended up killing him, which caused him to leave (he deserved it...). Anyway, so while waiting for the other tank to come (he had to take the ship), and the WH mbeing 2k tnl, I said jokingly that I'd tank. Well, either way. we...

Nothing really too exciting, but after being like 0/1907324, finally got Mandibular Bite, along with Blitzstrahl and Magnetite Cloud (no Awful Eye yet ; ;).

The other day, I was trying to get Poison Breath, and the hounds in Tahrongi Canyon wouldn't use it at all (I literally left one alive, beating on me, from around 2:30 until about 19:30 game time, and it never once used Poison Breath >.>). So I headed to Gusgen Mines to see if there were any...

For those of you who has gotten the job that high already to start wearing AF (52~60), do you think, before the update of the arrival of the AF quests and pieces, it would be wise to start collecting coffers and chest keys? I'm getting this feeling that for those that want to get the AFs, when...

http://ffxi.ironmog.com/viewtopic.php?t=5772 has all blue magic, capped blue magic skill, best gear possible. pretty nice accomplishment, look at the damage screenies.

And it was fun! I went out with my kitten and we duo'd Blu and Cor together. My super super sexy kitten... cheaping on gear but we just wanted to go kill stuff so no muling n crap Then we hit level 2 ans figure Why not? and go assault a T crawler. 1/1! I thought that was sexy... got to...

for those that havent seen or found out yet, it seems its been confirmed that blu does get a auto refresh combo as well http://www.theorderls.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=9490

Anyone know anything to improve the accuracy of BLU magical abilities? (Not physical spells such as Bludgeon.) Specifically Geist Wall? I don't know whether I'm getting flat-out resisted a lot of the time, or if there's a trick to it, like with Chaotic Eye.

Let me be the first to say that I did not create this guide so I will not take more credit than searching, cutting and pasting is due. I did a ton of searching over the net and there was much information just scattered around but this one covered it all and included links to other helpful...

Ok, here is my contribution to the BLU population. Didnt make it, but might as well post it. http://img45.imageshack.us/img45/2803/faotilv19wf.png Enjoy. [I still say the acronym for Blue Mage should have been BUM and the Puppetmaster should have been PMS]

I'm kinda curious..... How many of you out there have spent an obscene amount of time trying to gain a new spell? I love Blu so far, but on Cocoon I'm 0/22 lol. Thats 22 Cocoon's used by a Crawler and 22 times I have'nt learned it.

So I was in the dunes today in a party and I was told blue magic skill is all that effects your spells. So I didn't have too much int+ or mnd+ but when we started fighting a lot of spells were getting resisted. Is there another mod for damage? Also I was wondering since most of the spells that...

We don't know much about the job, but I discovered something yesterday. As a Lvl 16 BLU I learned a level 22 spell. Yes! A 6 level difference. Also for those looking to get poison breath it is from hounds I can guarantee that.

Ok, i just dinged lvl 8 last night and logged. I am currently using /WHM for cure/extra MP. But i noticed that my BLU parries atleast 3-5 hits per battle and has great EVA (checked against Tough Crawlers in West Sabataru lv.7). So i was thinging would /WAR be good sub for dunes then sub NIN at...

Anyone have a list with the BLU magic and the mobs that you can learn it from? The lvs. you can and the locations too? Thanks~

First go collect 3 items from the normal areas. Valkurm Sunsand, Dangruf stone, and Siren's Tear. Sunsand appears on the boat in the dunes during earth weather. Dangruf stone is from a ??? in the north part of Dangruf Wadi. And Siren's Tear is from a quest in bastok, the quest starter starts...
