75 NA BLU on bismarck

Seeing as how Iron is pretty much the best shell server-wide,
the gear doesnt much come as a surprise. :P

well yeah. there's not exactly a whole lot to be elite with on BLU end game gear, though.

i find people like that have no life XD why waste time to be first at that job when people who are lving slowly learn to do job better and plus the gear is not perfect yet

Quotes like this are getting out of hand. Lets think about this. It took the man three weeks to get 75. It normally takes someone 5-7 months to even hit 70, the ones you consider to play and have a life, when in fact, Getting it out of the way in three weeks opens up much more life than being stuck in the level grind for 5-7 months. I recently started BST so I will be on, most often, all day everyday, throughout the summer, until it is 70-75 just so it gets done ASAP in as less days is spent as possible.

This is another one I dislike... Just because this guy powered through, doesn't mean he didn't learn the job. Likewise, someone could slowly level and suck, happens all the time nowdays. For all you and I know, he could be damn good or the worlds worst but time spent leveling doesn't show any sign of how skillfull someone is.
 
I'm not passing the AF lvls until the AF actually is released. As long as this guy doesnt brag (which would be stupid, since getting a job to 75 in 3 weeks kinda makes me feel bad for that guy and feel sorry for him). If he wants to waste his life, then meh.....fine by him. Everybody has their own way to play the game. Some ppl think Powergaming is fun for them.......I think its worthless, but thats just my opinion. I enjoy taking the time in the job and enjoying each and every level.
 
why the rush period? other then to brag about being the first 75 NA BLU? gear isnt complet. shit, the new job's AF isnt even implemented yet and the 3 new jobs dont even have a G5 fight set up.

when the new jobs came out people ran to unlock them faster then bumms at a homless shelter when the dinner bell rings. ever hear the phrase "hurry up and wait."? well thats exactly what this guy will be doing for awhile, waiting.
 
getting up to 75 in three weeks doesn't mean you don't have a life. It can go rather fast with a good static actually.

While you sit there and seek for 5 hours a day to even get a party, and then exp for maybe 2-3 hours, he party with his static for 7-8 hours.

And let's say they get 5k an hour (which is even an undestatement. My static got 7k an hour through 10-33), it doesn't really take that lon gto get 75. He can play just as much as most other people, and still reach that lvl. All it needs is a good static.

And lvlign fast does *NOT* mean you don't get to cap your skills, nor does it mean you don't learn your job. I can assure you that the guy got help from his static party to get spells, and the guy's also a lvl 75 PLD, which means his sword skill is already capped. And Blue Magic isn't hard to cap... it caps 10 min after you lvl at the most.

Maybe in his LVLing up BLU to 75 in three weeks he impressed some chick so much with his uberness that he got to bang her, and get her pregnant, therefore in such said act, he was really living, since now he's reproduced and carrying on the next generation.
 
Congrats. You're 75. Way to go, no Artifact in the game. No Relic in the game. No real Job specfic kinda stuff around. No Blue Mage merit category. No real HNM drops.

So why are you 75 again? To camp up Wyrmal Abjurations and Homam? Thrilling. Absolutely thrilling.

Rush + Nothing to Rush to = owow!

He'll be no different getting it in 3 weeks than the guy that gets it before the next big patch that actually introduces stuff to be 75 to get for the job.

So? I'm a level 40BLU right now and, let's face it, AF gear isn't normally partying gear. In the 2 jobs I've taken to 75, I've used 3/12 pieces full-time (and MNK body because I didn't want to buy a SH, so there was a better option) and macrod in 2 more. I have no plans to stop XPing to wait for what will probably be a worthless AF sword, and by the time I'm in the 50s the AF wil be implemented. And even if it isn't, there's a good chance most of the gear I have now will be better, aside from looks.

So I'm not buying stopping for AF or Relic just yet. As for HNM drops, good! There's enough people who need Ridills and Abjurations without the new jobs wanting them too..
