Ok just letting you guys know i had my first blu ray issue today. I picked up Starship Troopers last night because it is made of win.
Popped it in today and the load screen appears. The loading bar fills up and 5 minutes later... No change... Just stuck at the load screen.
I researched somewhat and found there are others with this issue. Turns out the movie is one of the first BD50's.
After about 5 more tries it actually went past the load screen... No idea what i did different. So i am now watching the movie... When...
There is a scene with troopers defending a little outpost. The character on screen reloads his weapon then looks over the ledge to see thousands of enemies on their way... Then it shows the scene of the trooper reloading again... The same exact scene...
So I research this problem. Turnes out many people have this same issue. There seems to have been an error made when producing the movie.
Now some people have reported their copies work just fine... Wanted to get this out so that if you have these issues... You are not alone... lol.
I am going to try and find out what versions are without the glitched scene or if there will be a quality copy released as a replacement.
Does any one know what caused to disk to not move past the load screen? Or even more important what eventually made it get past the load screen? Help would be appreciated.
