What exactly was incorrect about his opinion? Its an idiotic stance to assume that he is literal when he says there are "no games" especially when he made it clear what he meant by "no games".
The standard at which someone can declare "No games" is too subjective and entirely based on perspective. What I find interesting is that whenever something good happens for the PS3, such as an exclusive announced, a firmware increasing functionality or a price drop - suddenly every Xbox 360 fan's perspective is that the PS3 is somehow worse off than it was before.
The reality is that the more competitive the situation, the more threatened they are, and therefore the more against the system they are, and as a result, their perspective is skewed.
We choose what we dislike and all things are in context. We don't sit down and just play Halo or Heavenly sword. If you love Xbox, then you sit down playing Halo knowing that this is the flagship title and you're supposed to enjoy it, because millions of other people do as well.
Strid is the kind of guy who talks shit about PS3 games he hasn't played. That's his perspective, he's never touched them but he knows he hates them and that his opinion of them is valid. He's never played Warhawk but he's confident that Lost Planet is better. He's never played Heavenly Sword but he's sure that all the game has going for it is pretty graphics. For christ sake, he declared the other day that MISTWALKER has taken the torch from SQUARE-ENIX. If no games is a matter entirely of perspective, then PS3 is not allowed to have games from the perspective of 360 die hards, and here is the reason.
Step 1) Dislike all PS3 exclusives without playing them.
Step 2) Declare the system has no games, because from your own perspective, it has no exclusive games you want.
Now if you notice, I don't go around bashing 360 games. First off, I actually play them and try them out. Second off, I give credit where it's due, which a lot of software developers on both sides deserve. Third off, I give damnation where it's due, which a lot of devs for Wii games who clearly are lazy pieces of shit deserve.
The fact remains, that the "exclusives" 360 has inevitably end up on PC same day or months to a year later or they'll end up on the PS3. To top it all off, they charge for online, which Xbox fans accept WAY WAY WAY too easily, and their system reliability is junk, which yet again... Xbox fans forgive WAY WAY WAY too easily. Really... the first game I want that's staying exclusive on the 360 for sure is Ninja Gaiden 2. I can't imagine that getting a PC port, and from what I hear MS is publishing it.
I wanted Dead Rising too until I actually played it... mindless bullshit.
