I particularly found the "ding" for the trash thing and the whatever skill being the most retarded of them all XD But I do agree with GIVING THE GAME A TRY! I'd agree the guy (Or girl) needs to also give some more time up from the game but doesn't hurt to do things together

If you don't have any interest in games, forcing yourself isn't a good way to go about it.
Let alone the fact, any resentment that might have sprung up from the need to feel like you have to compete with a video game.
 
well, most of the people that have a problem with a gamer lover never even really gave a game a chance anyways. At least everyone I've met. And if they are gamers, you shoulda learned that sooner and dealt with it sooner I think. I don't get it, if you enter a loving relationship, you should try their hobbies and they should try yours.. that just makes sense :| and you each find what you both enjoy and try sticking to that. From the article, it was clear the woman didn't even TRY to play the game with her husband months back. She did what every god damn person does, put all the blame on the other person/object and didn't take any damn responsibility for their own actions. I'm sure that was a salvageable relationship but she obviously didn't care to try anymore than he did.
 
I agree with you full heartedly on that front. She just pointed fingers, packed up and left. For anything, regardless of game, sport, or hobby to destroy a marriage in.. what'd the article say? Something like 8 months? That was a doomed marriage from the word go.
 
I think it was a 6 year marriage and the guy started playing a few months before or something? I don't remember though :P
