So I have this friend, right?
This friend has 1 child, and 1 more on the way. He is not married to the mother, but they do live together. His problem is that he cheats on his girl all the time. Lets call him john.
Then I have this other friend. She is getting a divorce very soon. Her husband is an alcoholic and adicted to pornography (like... beats it till it bleeds). I personally think he's been cheating on her for a while, but that's a different story. This friend has a child as well. We'll call her jane.
So about 10 years ago jane met who is now her husband. Her husband had herpes and didn't tell her. I knew, and I didn't tell her, as I figured it isn't my responsibility. So now Jane has herpes and is single again.
Jane and john go out to a bar one night with a group of friends, and come home wanting to be more than friends, even though both have children and another person they have committed theirself to.
But they are both feeling the connection. So sitting in the car outside my house, the start to fool around a bit. Things heat up, and it ends up going a bit further than it should and they pleasure each other oraly. But there is a problem. Jane never told john she had herpes.
Now jane has been around since I was a little kid. She is actually to blame for most of my shinanigans as she is the one that dropped me on my head when I was less than a year old. John is actually a couple of years younger than me. I've known him for aout 10 years. I love both people as though they were a brother or a sister respectivly.
Jane told me nothin happened as far as doing anything that could give john herpes. John tells me a different story. John also got extremely upset at me for not telling him a long time ago.
Now from Jane's point of view, I betrayed her trust by telling him.
From johns point of view, I betrayed his trust by not telling him soon enough.
Now, me personally, I don't fuck unless I am either fully prepared to raise a child or fully prepared to pay for an abortion. Jane needs to realize that she can't be "single" in the way she was before she met her husband who gave her herpes. John needs to realize that he made a commitment when he agreed to father children from this other poor girl that gets cheated on all the time.
So... what do I do? I don't want these people to hate me for the rest of their lives. I suppose both of them need to understand that there is a reason why I have privelaged information about the other one. It's because they both trust me not to do anything with that information to harm them. Yet both of them still want me to tell all secrets about the other.
The way I see it, they are basiclly asking me to choose who I am better friends with. Sadly there is much more to the story on both sides. If anyone has any advice or is interested at all, let me know, i'll continue.
