A Boy and his Blob is getting remade for the Wii. I just heard about this today.

I used to play this game all the time. I never got very far, though. I was always trying to make the blob's various jellybean-enhanced shapes do things they weren't meant to do. Hopefully the remake is going to give you a little more freedom to experiment.

I was considering posting this earlier today, but I figured not too many people had as many awesome memories with this game as I did, and thus wouldn't be as excited.

This is pure nostalgia. I'm glad they didn't go 3D. The sidescroller as a genre shouldn't be dead. This game makes me want a Wii.

I loved playing that game on the NES. I.. can't remember a single thing about the games story.. if it had one, but I do remember having a ton of fun feeding the blob jelly beans. I may get this.. dunno.

Holy crap I loved this game! I never beat it but I had a lot of fun and did progress decently well. I'll definitely get this for the Wii.
