To: The man that killed my cat
From: Me

I swear to god, if I ever fucking find you, I will rip your fucking balls of and feed them to my dogs.

Good day to you sir.

Signed, myself.

My sympathy Uzor, I know what it's like to lose a pet, after you get so attached to them, it hurts.

I wouldn't be this pissed if it were an accident. Its the fact that someone went out of his way to kill her.

This isn't the first time. Over the past 3 weeks, a lot of pets have gone missing from our neighborhood. Someone is kidnapping pets and killing them off. I got worried yesterday when she didn't come home. She usually always stays near to me while she's at home, either by laying in my lap, on my computer table, or my bed, and she always curls up next to me when I go to bed.

Anyone that knows me know how much I loved that cat. She's our sixth generation of handpicked cats. We only pick the one with the best temper and looks to keep and continue to breed on, as cats usually inherit their mother's temper, due to the way she raises them. Thus, if the mother is shy or afraid of humans or other animals, the kittens will pick up on it as well.

This cat was special. She were the pride of our family. When she died, we didn't only lose a damn fine cat, we also lost close to 18 years of work of breeding the best family cats, as she were the last one we had left that could breed.

They say that serial killers start off by killing local animals, and step up gradually.. Might wanna keep an eye out.

On topic: I feel for you, I've had a cat in my house since I was born.

(Find him and kill him)

that really sucks Uzor, especially if she was a family heirloom; I never understood why people like to run over animals or kill anything alive for that matter. If it's a bug in my house I will kill it, if it's outside I don't go out of my way to destroy them.

I hope you find that guy and report him, I've heard the same that genk said about serial killers; not safe to approach him directly.

I'm sorry for your loss. I have a siamese blue point that is amazing! He's so subtle and calm. He is prolly close to what your cat's like. So I can sorta say I know how you feel, besides the 18 years of work and all that. That's just cold and sickly disturbing to know someone kills pets to get a hardon...Best wishes, and my condolences.

I agree, that would be a major red flag to parents or neightbours.

I'm soooo sorry about what happened. Stine is also quite right, Karam is a wicked thing.

If the cat was that important, why were you letting it outside in the first place? Theres always the potential for pet death to occur from many sources. Eating something it shouldn't, getting stuck somewhere, attacked by another animal(cat/dog/manbearpig/etc,) or hit by a car, just to name a few.

Sure, it's awful that a human being killed it. But if you really had the best interest of your family's line of breeding in mind, the cat wouldn't have been allowed outside in the first place.

Dude, you're so cold, sure it's quite true, but honestly. That's the last thing that needs to be said right now. You just got off a ban, and here you come back and make people feel like crap. Sorry, but something is wrong here. Just cause it should be said, doesn't mean it needs to be said at that point in time, it could of waited...yeah it's truth, but honestly. The first thing Uzor needs now is comfort, to lose a cat like that, and it's story behind it, for the past 18 years, isn't exactly something you get over in an instant...

Don't give that to the dog. Then the dog will have someones genitalia in-lodged in his teeth, then when you're serving the dog a bowl, he might try to lick you're face.

You should contact the other victims and hold a meeting about it. You'll be surprised how fast you'll track the killer, then you'll have you're chance.

And whos to say this alleged pet killer even did it? Was there a note, or obvious signs of tools being used?

You can't just take blood and assume theres unnatural foul play.

Sometimes the truth hurts. Flamebaiting isn't allowed on RSI, but Skaw's post was far from a flamebait.
As for Uzor, there's no way I can tell what you're going through. An odd point, though, I've been hearing a lot about people killing cats in my city lately. I can point out three neighborhoods in my city alone that have seen an outbreak of pets (cats, dogs) being killed.
Must be the water.

True what I said was baiting, but not a strong flame to even put in there. ~

OT: I just fear when you find out what/who did kill it and if you find it...best wishes.

Helius

I think you need to learn what baiting is (while this may seem like it, it isn't).

Nothing said in this thread has been baiting, be it you or Skaw.

OT: Kittens dying stinks. Sucks even worse that it was generations of cats being bred. The only thing to do is live and learn, and hopefully it won't happen again.

When I read the Lovely Bones, the main serial sex offender made an effort to stop raping children and killing them and instead turned to animals to get his frustration out. If what you said is true, you have a pshyco on your hands and someone needs to do some digging for everyones protection.

Because outdoors is a cat's natural inhabitant. The neighbor we live in is rather safe for the most part. As we live right by a school, only busses are allowed to drive past it. Even have a car trap so that cars can't drive in front of the school. The busses don't drive very fast either, as there's a 30km speed limit. Additionally, we live right by the lake with a park in front of it, so there's a lot of kids around where the cars ARE allowed to drive (albeit they never do, only the people living here do). there have never been a single cat or dog that have died from a natural cause where we live. Additionally, everyone know each other. Everyone love our cats (at least that's what they tell us...) because they're so friendly. The children in the park always plays with our kittens when we let them outside.

Now, she were laying dead in our yard. Since I highly doubt she died of a natural cause in our yard at the age of one and a half, and since I highly doubt that IF she were hit by a car, our neighbors, would they have found her by the road, wouldn't walk up to our yard and put there and leave without saying something. And like I said, she didn't come home the day before, and she sure as well wasn't dead in our yard before. Which makes me think someone put her there for whatever reason. My sister left for school at 8:00 AM, at which point she wasn't there. And my mother went out with the dogs at 10:00, and the cat were in the yard at 11:00 when she came back.

Now, its possible someone gave her food with rat poison or something, I don't know, and we're unlikely to find out since we already dug her a grave.

We had 4 cats, 3 now. All of them run outside, as its simply their natural inhabitant. They're calmer and more happy if they're allowed to run outside. Locking your children inside because its dangerous to play outside isn't really a valid reason. Shouldn't be for cats either.

I think it's awful that you decided to scold him about this! I agree that theres more potential for death, none the less, you could be a lil more sensitive or not post at all. I'm sure he's had enough thoughts pass through his head on how it could have been avoided. Shame on you.

With all this talk about serial killers going from small animals to people, and the fact that Uzor says he lives near a school....

Yeah, you might want to catch this fucker quick before he moves up the food chain.

Oh and /comfort Uzor, it sucks to loose a pet. :(

I was just wondering. The other pets that have been found dead, were they also found in their owners back yard as well? Do you have a fence around your yard? Have there been any sightings of either wild dogs or neighbors who leave their dogs out side w/o supervision?
