A Message to Newbies from Alla

i agree with Skaw.

when seeking in Whitegate with my RDM at 55, there was 2 RDM my level seking, me a Hume and the second a Taru, both same rank (5). my search comment included my having all staves/all spells/INT+18/MND+23 and all AF available for use if needed.
the second RDM didn't have one.
i found this second one. using GIMP equip. like at 55 using gear i felt to be useless when i was 25 levels lower, which my gear pwned then and there.
naturally the second got a pt before i did and i was left LFP for 5 hours ( i gave up and went to play my character on Gilgamesh)

/sigh

the whole anger against invites while not lfp confuses me, i don't even get invites when i'm lfp for 10 hours at times.

Quetz hates me i think lol

I found this on the Alla website and thought it was funny yet true for some of the newbies I have had the mispleasure of encountering.
A message to you "This is not all maybe u should respond to them over there"

I you dont like the post then dont post in the thread. Apparently some of the respondents found this thread worthwhile, if you dont GTFO.

Edit- Also, from the negative tone in your post, it appears as though you took this thread personally. Just an observation.

I have invited people who have not been seeking many times and sometimes you do get lucky and they join. Not all the time, but it does happen on a usual basis. Sometimes people are just getting ready to look for party in the next few minutes and you get lucky to grab them before they do or they may be debating whether to party or not and a invite could change their mind.

I am a Bard. I am a THF I have been at both ends of the stick in terms of party invites. It doesn't kill a person to simply say no and if the PT leader is too much just /blist them or use some profanity, works everytime.

If you really don't want to be bothered go /anon thats what its for. If you are not anon and you have a demanding job EXPECT PT invites, end of story.

As a PLD I sometimes get invites when I am not lfg. Sometimes I take the invite, but sometimes if I am doing something for my ls, ill check with the ls if they need me or not, and if i feel that I am needed, I will decline the invite.

I have had some ppl get rude when I turn down an invite. I always do it politely, and its just funny when someone expecting me to jump all over an invite gets rejected lol. I don't go /anon just for that pleasure. There is more to this game then EXP.

Point is people who aren't looking for a party shouldn't have to go anon. The fact that I'm not looking for a party should be indication enough, but eh, apparently its not.

I don't even know why people go anonymous, except when going through low level areas if they don't feel like being asked a raise, gimped or perhaps using an unorthodoxed job combination to solo/farm. Don't you people want to show off your hard earned levels o_O?

/anon leaves more to the imagination, like a hotty in sweat pants. :)
