A Problem :/

No... I pretty much started doing everything I didn't do before =P. Except smoking.

I suggest the exact opposite. I say get into a fight (even if just verbal) with someone, let all that you have bottled up inside explode out at one person. It can be a random stranger, someone doing some sort of telephone customer service, someone you can't stand, or even a friend if you give them fair warning and ask them to go along for the ride.

Depending on your morals/situation, rough sex is an incredible release of tension. Biting, grabbing, cursing, pulling, forcing, resisting, works wonders if you can put yourself into it and put everything on your mind into it.

This is also good advice! To each his/her own!

I don't know what your living situation is, if you are still at home, in dorms, or out on your own... but one thing that always made me happy were my pets and horseback riding. Riding is easy for me, since I have 4 horses of my own, and i'm not too sure how comfortable you are with large animals like horses, BUT, if you like horses and enjoy the outdoors, I'm sure somewhere in California there is a hack stable where you can rent a horse for x-amount of time and just ride. It may be in a group, but hey, that's just another way to meet new people and get out of your norm and funk.

Cigarettes and cocaine make me feel very happy, Kiskie. I hope you work it out.

I would be doing the coke and cigs thing too if I lived in Prescitt (as one of my best friends called it while going to school at Embry Rittle (sp?). I spent a weekend there and that was enough for me. The only good thing was paying 8 bucks for a growler from a brewery there.

just cause all the kiddies are lame doesn't mean you can't jump in and throw some fists.

thats true...but if you hit the wrong kid you get all his "crew" members jumpin in and gettin all in your face and now you gotta give like 4 little scene kids black eyes...meh at least they dont have to put on eye liner on that eye now

Sounds like my idea of fun.

(Sorry about the length)

Well, I'm still in and I thought I was out, I'm going in circles, I'm in the same boat as you, except mines already rounded the world once. I actually tried seeing if being in a relationship helps, man, that was the worst idea, I really hated myself for doing it, but that brought me down more. I have though of the eternal solution, but I'm like..."f*ck that, I'm better then 'him'(Devil)". I picked my sorry ass up and got a job, I now work at a Chic Fil A, been there for 3 weeks now. It's a great job, and before it, I sat at home...sitting at my desk, playing CS:S,WoW,and FFXI and all that. It was depressing to not be getting anywhere. So now that I have the job, I enjoy it since I'm around people, and I'm always 'going'. Not just sitting limp and sulking. To know I'm doing something, even though it's small. It's great. Though my days off loop me back to the days I did just sit at home all day, mainly now because my car has been in the shop for coming up on 2 weeks now. Days off, I have no way to get out. So yeah...other then that, I found simple solutions, mainly temporary fixes, were music, poetry and walks. I love taking walks now, and it gets me off my bony butt and get exersize. Which helps, gets your body moving and blood moving. I listen to music as an escape. It scrambles all my thoughts and lets me focus on ones that the music projects into my ears. (As in, don't listen to depressing songs and what not. Listen to some up beat songs, I can give you a decent list). Poetry helps, because I can express how I feel through that and it gets that weight of carrying my problems off my chest to have them out there to others, to carry problems is terrible. And guilt is another big thing. Your parents and the devorce, can be doing what they did to me, making you feel like it's your fault, I could be wrong, I was in counceling 'cause they split when I was 5...so maybe you knwo you're not, but sub conciously. who knows.

Glad to hear you got out and took that drive, I know what that's like. I used to take road trips twice a year before my dad moved to Florida, he was the reason we drove up and what not.
~
So my main advice out of all that, if you like writing or drawing, do it. But do it in a way that expresses how you feel, to get that knowledge off your chest and let you float. To be chained down, ugh...Other then that, walk and music. Maybe listen to music while drawing or writing, or maybe sports. You said you don't smoke so you must have somewhat if not a great one. I know I have loved to cook, I just can't right now since I don't have transportation to the grocery store. So I would give some of those a shot.

The last thing you want to do though is to sit at home all day. And make every day different, to repeat the samething, is boring, and gets old, there for making you wonder if you're getting anywhere after repeating the same thing over and over, find a way to make each day different.
~
Another thing that's brought me WAY down, is my leg. I had posted about my nerve damage, well. I can't do major activities and I have a stabbing pain quite often now, worse and worse each day. And I know I wont fully recover from this. So I make do, I love art. I lvoe music, and I love poetry. Just unlock what you're heart desires, and have at it. I know it sounds cheesey, but do what makes you happy. I know that can seem so hard in a time like this, but if you look hard enough, I'm sure as hell you'll find it, I know I found my light.
~
One last thought, It helps to share your problems with someone, and I know you said if your dad knew it would really drag him down, you're both in a slam, and you're both family. Why not try to help each other, find simiilarities in what you both like. Maybe go for a hike and chat. Get him out. Like what you did.
~
Like all the others who have given you advice, we're here. Just let us know, and we'll help. People weren't given the ability to be nice for no reason. We do this because we want to, not because we're forced to.

So get out there, both of you, and do something!

(Again sorry about the length......)

That's stupid.

I hate people who fuck with other peoples' cars. The only people dumb enough to do that are people who've never owned their own car, or worked for their own car.
