My past year in FFXI has been full of good times, but I've held off making a thread about it for quite a while.
About a year ago (I think), I joined Shakenbake, a ZNM ls which has ultimatley lead me to where I am today. Starting with my first serious endgame event for a while before that, it has lead me into do every possible aspect of endgame, through varying linkshells, which has ultimately made my character what I wanted it to be.
Well, last night, something very special happened to me. For a while, I thought of it the unobtainable item for myself, as with my busy event schedule, I just had no time for sea. That was, until Shakenbake opened up to the idea of doing sea. However, seeing as we had just started, I couldn't help but notice the offer Nicholette posted on QCDN about JoL Pops. I inquired and we set up times and got the JoLs down. Anyway, the end result...
After a long time of wanting, I finally got to replace my lolSpectacles which was the one thing my thf had that made me cringe! Special thanks to Nicholette, Shakenbake, and Carste for allowing this to happen last night. It truely made my day.
Aside from the Love Torque, I want to point out a few special linkshells to me which I am forever loyal to.
Lamebus and Rappa - The best limbus LS on the server. I've never imagined I'd obtain Homam and Nashira so quickly, and it's only going to get better. Run times are perfect and I really appreciate you letting me join.
Shakenbake and Jamal - The LS that got me back into endgame. Starting as just a ZNM ls, we've grown to so much more and I've met a lot of great people in the ls.
DynamisHeretics and Foosk: Best dynamis LS I've ever been it. It actually makes what is a rather boring event fun. Not to mention, my THF got Th4 hands so quickly as well as my SMN! Thank you so much DH, <3 ya!
KnightsOfAsgard (my einherjar LS): I've never been more proud of a group of people than I am of my Einherjar LS. My expectations were set very high for the LS, and I'll admit we had our difficulties at first, but now we're definatly one of the best on the server. Seeing many drops as well as getting me my Hecatomb Cap (which I thought was never going to be a reality), I am forever proud of the LS and I will continue running it for a very long time. Ty KoA and everyone who's made it possible!
Treasures of Alzadaal and Twinblake - Starting off hating Salvage, and I still kind of do, I'm glad I am with this group and we've definatly become much stronger. Although Archaic Chariot is lame, I'll eventually get my boots and I hope everyone else gets the salvage gear they want too!
My X's Knife Static - No, we haven't gotten it yet, but I really appreciate everyone's who's helped/helping me try to make it a reality for me. Manaa/Twinblake/Dreamingheart/Carste/Serigala/Teruko/Ircel/Demora/Caliysto/Moriarti/Lunacie ... Thank you!
There's so many other people I could thank, but I'd like to just point out some people in FFXI who are special to me:
