In cases of rape, Im for abortion

In cases of accident, Im against it

Have the child and put it up for adoption if you cannot support the kid...
 
I'm all for Abortion. It gives people a chance to study stem cells. Maybe we can figure out how to replace bad genes and end illnesses all together.

While it is a bad thing to do to babies. One abortion could save a million+ lives one day.

Too bad your president is against stem cell research and decided to fuck all of UN over because of it =/

Now we're forced to study it in nations such as China and Vietnam. And Sweden had a huge research project prepared about it, too =/ Now we're forced to study it on animals. Good thing we ignored it partially and still allow people to give birth to healthy kids in order to donate organs and w/e to their sick siblings. And before you flame it, it doesn't cause the newlyborn to die, or get sick.

And Amidamaru, what exactly do you think the punishment should be?

I don't think its fair to force a, say, 10 or 12 year old kid to give birth to a baby just because she were raped. That causes so many unnecessary risks and complication to the girl's life that it could completely ruin the rest of her life. As if getting raped weren't enough.
 
I'd think a fine or short jail sentence would be appropriate for a first offense. However, the pro-life people would consider it to be murder, so I assume they'd want you to be charged for murder.
 
ok speaking from recent experience, I had to terminate a pregnancy because of serious health risks... I had a threatened miscarriage at 15 weeks, that's second trimester and not very common. 50% of women who experience a threatened miscarriage will lose the pregnancy (aka, miscarry again)... this poses serious risks to health, since serious bleeding occurs. Its scary, and very sad...

I also thought I'd add that I was adopted at birth, as was my brother.

As far as rape or incest, I don't see the need to make someone live with a child inside of them that they know came from a rape, perhaps by a family member and reminds them or makes them relive it for 9 months. And in the case of incest you run a high risk of birth defects.

Even if every baby was put up for adoption, who is going to adopt all of these kids or are they just going to stay in the system for their entire lives without familes or loved ones? All of these people say put them up for adoption, but where will they be when it comes time to adopt these kids?

I have my own personal views on things but I would rather our country be a democracy and not a theocracy.

Considering the high amount of abortions, if everyone of them that could have a healthy baby put their kid up for adoption, there wouldn't be enough people to actually adopt all of those hundreds of thousands of babies. Which means a fuckload of kids would live their entire lives without real parents, causing them to live unloved and under depression, and possibly become criminals at adult age, or commit suicide before then.

2005 there were over 1,2 million reported abortions. With over 1,2 million babies every year on top of the already existing ones at adoption agencies, I doubt there would be enough parents to take care of them. What should happen to these?

It would be doing them all a greater favor to get rid of them before they are aware of life.

It should be a good thing that all those people get abortions too. Think about it. The human race is growing at a rate so fast that the earth can't support us. Even if it's a few hundred thousand a year that's still a lot when you think about it.

Look at it this way. Abortions can equal cures to illnesses and a planet that can live for a few more years.

1,2 million per year roughly in the states, 17 thousand roughly in Sweden. Between 6 and 14 million per year in China. 1,5 mil total per year in Russia.

Just between Russia, China and US, there's approximately 16 million of kids getting aborted every year. The rate at which mankind would advance if you combine all countries is just insane. Its insane as it is, it'd be even more insane if without the abortions.
 
@.@ God some people from here suck. I love how stupid that woman was in the beginning protesting when she never thought of consequences if abortion were illegal. The old women was even dumber "it's killing another person" it's not even fully grown it's not a person. I am all for pro-choice.
