We didn't do Tav because we had 30 members, leaving 12 members out of an LS event isn't right.
Neither, technically, is adamantly refusing to go along with the schedule that pretty much every NA and several JP linkshells make a significant effort to adhere to, so as to avoid the precise situation which you are causing to occur on a fairly regular basis.
Your attempt to impose morality on the situation is flawed. "It's not right" to leave 12 people out of your LS, but "it's alright" to disrupt the schedule of 35 other people because you don't want to inconvenience
yourself.
In other words, you're a douche, and trying to justify it by saying you're being a douche because you don't want to upset your douche friends doesn't alter the fact that
you're a douche.
We didn't waste 30 ppl's night, they had an hour notice to know they wouldn't have Xarc, they could have planned to wait or move to another zone. When we go for Dyna and see an LS in the zone we wanted, we move on, it's not a hard concept, people should try it instead of standing around moaning about how they didn't get the zone they had wanted. Your life is not over because you lost a zone, learn to move past it.
Perhaps
they wanted to do Xarc as well. I mean, after all, they went to all the trouble of
scheduling the zone. So yes, much like you were unwilling to take the consolation prize, and instead decided to screw over other people for your own personal gain, it can definitely be justified to say that you wasted 30+ other people's nights.
Your life would be considerably simpler if you would just schedule, or at least make a token attempt to not screw people over, rather than just doing what you want, when you want to do it.
Personally I think they should just start using GMs and the STF to harass the hell out of you, but I'm vindictive that way.
