Do any of you feel bad about sitting around on a pc/ps2/ps3/xbox irl attacking people over... a Video Game?
There is a VERY simple solution to this problem. A problem of which has been going on since the dawn of server transfer shells.
You can, call the special task force and report people you believe are cheating. Which is THE MOST effective way of dealing with people you really suspect of cheating.
You can also, just move to another zone and keep the focus on your shell and doing whats best for them. Never let what someones else does or doesn't do effect your success on here.
I am no stranger so the very harsh HARRASMENT of people who claim to have had zones they scheduled stolen by people I have associated with.
I have since within the last year or so been supporting the servers dynamis scheduling calendar but after seeing some of the things and attacks said in this thread, does it bring back so many memories.
You dont own a zone. You dont. That is the fact. You can schedule it on QCDN but QCDN is not and never will be law or have any effect on what a player can or cannot do in game.
It is a courtesy to use it and cooperate, a good one too.
Absolution or any shell on any server, would be very kind and generous to follow the schedule, however, it doesn't make someone an asshole or douchebag to chose not follow any .. um, Tradition. Im gonna call it that.
It is NOT A RULE. It is NOT a right. If you want rules and rights, you can refer to the terms of service, which are the rules.
One of any players rights is to move in any dynamis zone that no one is occupying. If someone has occupied the zone, then of course you cannot enter.
It is only out of KINDNESS anyone would chose to use the dynamis calendar here on qcdn.
Because someone doesn't want too, doesn't make them an asshole. Everyone's times are different, but its not as if thats any of anyone's business to explain their time zones and what not. There is no one in the zone. They have the right to enter. Period.
If they wanted to be generous or kind, yes, they would follow it and cooperate. They obviously aren't interested in being "nice". Kindness isn't a quality most hnm shells possess. The ones that do are very respectable. However, has nothing to do with said groups success or Morales.
Botting/MPK/RMTing - totally different story. One I feel the need to not get into. If you suspect someone is doing these things, you have responsibility to report it. I understand if you wanna /tell the person and be an asshole or w/e sometimes out of irritation. I've done that myself to people. Doesn't mean I'm not being a bitch by doing so but I understand where that frustration comes from. It doesn't mean you're right for doing so. You have to know that you're wrong for doing that.
Judging by what I've seen, It is no doubt people are harassing them. Yes, harassing. A violation that could easily get you banned. Sending some bitchy tells, OK but its pretty much far passed that point.
If someone said the things to me, that were said to them over DYNAMIS zone, that is not occupied, I would not in anyway shape or form cooperate with it. I wouldn't. You cant INTIMIDATE people into doing what you want.. Who do you think you are?
I do not support botting or gilselling/buying, bu thats not really what this threads about and its not up to us to determine if abso or any shell is guilty of those violations. Thats a GMs and STF officers job. NOT YOURS. Report it if you suspect it. If you dont wanna do that, then oh well. Nobody wants to hear about it. You obviously dont care enough to report it so, get over it. I have called a gm 400+ times to report people i think are rmt and I have submitted dozens of reports to the STF. Thats all you can really do.
Nothing pisses me off more than when people THINK they can just harass people over something like dynamis zones. Don't get me wrong, I still support the calendar. People talked to me about it and educated me on the way this server works. And I've converted into being a more cooperative player.
That doesn't change fact if someone ever said to things to me that were said to alaura, who btw was very hurt by such said things and is a nice girl, i would never consider being kind to such said group. Again, following the calandar is simply an act of kindess and nothing more.
It is shitty you lost your zone. I'm not siding with anyone but this thread isnt about what renze does for a living or what kinda car you drive (wtf?), its not about whos botting kings or buying new accounts, This is about dynamis scheduling and in the end anyone is in their right to occupy a zone that is empty and by doing so even knowing whats on the calandar doesnt make them "douchebags" or "assholes".
Just because you dont do something nice for someone doesnt mean you're a bitch or w/e. And yes, following the calandar is simply an act of kindness and or courtesy.
The best possible advice I can give is, use your rescources better, call gms, report, communicate respectfully (like meik), try to be kind, dont let your anger get the best of you.
If you get a glass from a dynamis shell and go in to ninja lot/mpk, you do know you will porbably get banned right? Unless the leaders or the shell or buyer of the glass gives you permission or suggest that you have rights to lot,(like in ragnorok dynamis case, they said lot ur @1) its considered scamming to ninja lot. If you do go in to MPK them, thats just mpking and also probably get you suspended. Especially if its anywhere in your log where you announce you are trying to get a glass to disrupt someones dynamis event.
