Yah, I"m not the best leader, but according to Quieren I was the only one who'd take the job. I asked Celvantes if he'd take chip duties when he came back and he said "I can't cause I dont know when I'll be deployed again".

Some leaders are better than others. One is better than none. I may not have been the best but I tried. Sorry it wasn't up to your level of eliteness.

Celv, Koug... thanks for the loyalty to the shell. Quieren, for the amount of bitching you did about your sackholders and then telling me it was my job to make it work was kinda fucked up. The shell was a mess when you hand it to me with a "I just choose who gets what gear" drop system.

Wish it turned out better. I failed at not stepping in sooner, I'll agree wholely to that. So yeah, Rappa you are right. This was failed leadership. But also failed leadership from Mirewen, and quitting instead of helping fix it really isn't a shell first attitude.

Since we are quoting my follies on one day, how about we quote my successes? We've done two Ultimas and two Omega's since Quieren left. One Ultima was run by Veresko and I ran the other since Veresko wasn't logged in. Mirewen, I ran a run specifically for your BLM set. Rappa, I ran a Temenos run, which we lost time wise, because I took every chest looking for your DRK piece. Which chest did we get it? That's right.. the one we popped with 30 seconds left.

Its easy to throw someone under the bus. Its harder to thank them for trying to do something for you.

Quieren since you've publicly called me out, contact me so there is a way we can make sure the shell uses the completed sets. Don't hang them out to dry because you sided with one instance of a long bitching campaign by Mirewen. (Whom I was told by you "always bitches until she gets what she wants".) Maybe I should have saved how you truly felt about your comrades when you told me it was my problem now.

BK. Sorry it came to this. I really was tired of fielding tells from people telling me where to put them on the Homam list or they'd quit. Or people demanding more Ultimas when I was doing my best to go 50/50 on them with a heavy melee group. If you didn't like something you should have spoke up, not bitched about Otak leaving cause she got a job, or me chasing Halifirien off (who announced his quitting BEFORE I even got the job).

For clarification to the public the day after Quieren quit I logged in to the Wednesday run asking who was running things. The response I got was:

You're right Rappa. You all deserved more than throwing someone into a good shell with no fucking clue what to do. I tried. Sorry. Maybe you should have to. I never asked for this job. I did it cause you all wouldn't... Celv send me a tell so we can move this shell forward instead of backwards like Rappa's trying to do. I have no problems stepping down. In fact, I'd like to have stayed where I was when Quieren left.

Oh... one last thing. Rappa I work for a living. Usually 12-14 hours a day. Sorry I didn't respond to your post within 30 seconds. I just got home. If you think I'd hide from this, you dont have a clue who I am.

As for your deletion/removal. As of last night I dont have the ability to remove you. Halifirien did that. I did delete the thread because there was no point as all the members were in the shell when it happened. You were just pissing on a dead horse. Oh well did that piss you off? Damn.

Sorry BK is getting a rep that it doesn't deserve. There are some really loyal members in there who were focused on helping others. Greg and Nyosan come to mind. Neither really have anything to strive for but continue to show. On the other hand it's always had issues with members. Of the 9 sackholders Quieren made (that I know about), only 4 are left. Celv finally came back so we are up to 5. Mire quit; down to 4. Of Quieren's original roster he handed me of 28 people, I've never seen 16 in the shell in my tenure. Quieren quit at the last second giving literally days notice and leaving without a set leader in place, just declaring who could do it. I took the challenge and failed. Sorry Rappa and Mirewen. I tried. I'd think 2 Ultimas and 3 Omegas since Quieren left was damn good for 3 months. Guess not.

Flame all you want. At the end of the day you failed at leading as much as I did. At least I didn't run away from the problem. I made a decision, no matter how right or wrong it was.

I've already made my life clear for the board and just like FFXI, haven't been around this board a year.

I made my move. I informed the masses about someone I considered a horrible leader so no one else has to suffer like I did. I've never had a pearl broken before, and this being the first time was for an insanely bad reason. I'm moving on in the way that makes the most sense to me, by helping others not have to deal with this crap.

It's all a null point now. Someone who wasn't even in the shell completely spazzed for her poor choice being pointed out and then I was called an asshole for pointing it out. You then attacked me and booted Rappa. Even if you weren't leading and had the same response, it would have been totally uncalled for. Neither of us mentioned it first btw, if you'll notice the SS.

And as for me saying "you have no choice", taking that out of context. We were all laughing and saying "not it" and such. All you had to do was say "no".

We're all very level headed. Which is why we said "What the fuck?" and left. Siding over some person who isn't even in the shell over vets when she was so obviously wrong = reason enough to gtfo out of said shell. The reason why I "quit for Gotter" was because he (as well as I and Rappa) were hanging on by a thread of hope it would get better. Other than Nyosan, Rappa and I were the only reason Gotter stayed on board. He said he didn't really want to be there if the majority of his friends quit. Any person with an education and even a slight bit of common sense could see this was in a downward spiral. We decided to pull ourselves out of it.
