Acorn supports.....

Celv, it pains me to say this but you are flat out wrong. I invite you, and everyone else, to goto mises.org and read over some of the books there. Hopefuly it will change your mind.

Although I 100% agree that Acorn should receive no tax payer funding... and I cannot stand Rachel Maddow... i actually agree with some of her points in this video.

Now just to note... Defunding is not a punishment as congress is allowed to handle appropriations so therefore it is not a bill of attainder but her point that any group that is found guilty of fraud should be defunded i agree with.

I could say the same and refer you to heritage.org

What, exactly, would it change my mind about? The very first article on health insurance makes one of my points: that the *existing* market is over-regulated as it is, and that less regulation, not more, is the solution.

I was speaking of your arguement against "blind" constitutionalism, and the first four paragraphs of that post.

in regards to post #40... a lot is due to unions. They will fight for higher worker pay. Good example is dock workers in hawaii. About a decade back they went on strike because the workers in Cali got a raise. MInd you hawaii dock workers don't do anywhere near the work Cali ones do. Yet they got their raise. Many get paid over 90k doing 1/4 the work.
