Doesn't working in a retail-type store blow? I worked at a Finish Line for like...3 months once. I'd bet that I put at least 50% of my pay back into that store. Made literally no money, but I have a bangin' shoe collection and all Under Armor underwear and undershirts to show for it.
 
Not sure if fapping constitutes an addiction or just habit.....

Also to add ice cream of the Cookies N Cream species I can never turn down for some reason. Oh and a good bottle of merlot!
 
Thanks everyone .... 40 hours now .... family is still alive. Is it pathetic i am counting the hours and when is the craving going to stop. This makes me glad I am not addicted to any other drugs

Coffee but only when I start drinking it, if I don't have none for a while I don't think about it. But as soon as I have a cup, I can't stop.

Yeah. Although it has its positives and negatives. Sure you drained your cash but fucking A you got some shit to show for it.
 
I used to be a major smoker and drinker up until the day I found out my gf (now wife) was preganant. That moment, I threw away my pack of cigarettes and never looked back. I still drink, but only occasionally, and usually at home so I dont have to drive anywhere.

The first 3 days are the worst, the craving will start going away after the first week.
After that, you'll be fighting the habbit.
Those moments of "Damn I want a cig!" will be around for a while but it won't make you feel as bad as it does now.
 
I smoke ciggs, so I guess I'm addicted to them haha. I'm currently fighting off a DXM addiction (yea that's cough medicine) Of all the drugs i have done not one has ever grabbed me as hard as DXM. MY suggestion to anyone that likes to get fucked up is to stay away from Dextromethorphan and CCC, any over the counter cough medicine, its more serious than most think, including myself at one point.
I'm working on quiting smoking, and of course DXM.

Unfortunately cigarettes have one of the most powerful addictions, I crave cigarettes more than any drug I have ever done. Keep going tho, I'm trying to quit now... I was on like 10 hours without a cigarette but I failed again.. so now I'm at 20 minutes. gogo 72.

Both my brothers and my mother smoke/smoke weed/heavy drinkers. I never understood why they'd smoke/smoke weed then they know that the smallest amount of smoke sends me into 30 min coughing fits.

I smoke weed. Its nice i'm not going to lie, and for the most part I like getting high. If you don;t understand why people do it, then you probbaly never will, its just one of those things.

I'm sure getting high is awesome but I meant that the smoke from either cigarettes and pot nearly kills me and the whole lung issues. So I was confused as to why people who are around someone like that would start it up.

Sorry but that sounds like very selfish and inconsiderate behavior, especially for family. If they went outside or in the garage or something to save you the health risks that would be better. >.> Sorry

I don't really agree, they shouldn't have to change their routine because of one person <,< that would suck. I can see if they were blowing smoke at him, but otherwise I'd still smoke.

Also if only a fraction of the smoke is potentially deadly to the person besides you?
Even if it's not, the least you can do is take the little trouble to ask the person beside you if it bothers them if you light your cig.

I have to agree with above people as an ex-smoker myself, most smokers are selfish and inconsiderate.
