Adding Extra Letters in Your Name

I hate the Hispanic "jajajajajajajajaja"

Just fucking say yes, yeah or the like and be on your merry way, no need to jajajaja me to death.

is that hispanic? i always thought it was like dutch or something.

here's a classic!

/wrists and emoDRK

these ditties would have pissed me off even if i didn't level dark knight. i thought /wrists was cute the first five times, but after that it got *really* fucking old.

But who says yesyesyes? That's stupid.

your face is stupid!

do you see why jajajajajaja would be annoying to me if i thought it was dutch or german then? yesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyes....

If I am in a battle I would not care if a player shortens words. So long as I understand what they need or are trying to tell me it works. Writing out everything with proper spelling and grammer when doing something like CoP 6-4 could kill your whole team. If someone is asking me if I want to party i don't care if they use the word you or u. After all they could be typing mid fight. I would also point out some of those players that shorten the words are japanese players that speak poor english.
What annoys me is the people that /shout crap for 30 minutes or longer and it has nothing to do with the game. As for a players name, yeah seeing xxxcloudxxx and Xcloudx and what not gets tiring. Maybe someone should suggest to Square enix about allowing people to change names like they have the world transfeer. Too bad the people doing that would probably be on 90% of the servers black lists.

The one that bothers me the most is people who misuse "it's". "It's" is an exception to the possession rule and may only be used to signify a contraction of "it is".

Thus, "It's Saturday" is correct, where "That horse is swishing it's tail" is WRONG.

For what it's worth he's one of the more intelligent and kind players on the server. If memory serves his brother created this character at pc release and he took it over a few months later.

Not that the name is any less silly. I just wanted to show some respect to a solid member of our little world.

I'm guilty of this, but to be fair I didn't know that there was a Kerowyn on this server -- I just wanted the name to by slightly different from the book. =/

On the plus side I get to hear about how awesome my 75 paladin is, which makes me really cool since I don't have paladin unlocked. :x

Going to have to agree to with this. I've been using this name since I was about 12 (so... 15 years) in games and I'd never think of changing it if it was taken (never has been though thank goodness). People changing the spelling of names is what gets me, how many variations or Sephiroth can you have on one server? Why is THAT name so popular?

The only acceptable versions should be "Sephiroth", "Sephirot", and "Sefiroth".

I've been contemplating jumping to a server and back to quest to change this god forsaken name.

Man, I'm tired.
