As suspected, a few of the stars in Kingdom Hearts II are doing crossovers for Advent Children. Although I could have seen it long ago since they started recording for both at the same time. And this time it's not a joke. It has a date.

April 26th, 2006. Let's see if it's real this time.

Japanese with subtitles. That's how their fans like it?????? If I wanted to read I would pick up a book. I want to watch a movie not read it or learn much more japanese than I already know. I hope my preorder from EB is still good. I gotta check into that.

ditto x.x the guy who was nooj in FFX-2 and Superman in the Justice League is Sephiroth :\ I hope it turns out well

I looked up a few of the names and some of them are very good voice actors. For instance the guy playing Barret is the same dude who did Jet in the Cowboy Bebop movie.

Overall, I'm satisfied with the voice cast (Though like you guys iffy on Superman doing Sephiroth), though.. I can't help but feel that David Boreanis would have been a better cloud.

I think Steve Blum would made a good choice for Vincent, but I agree with the concern about the voice for Sepiroth. If the voice actor has a good range, then he might be able to pull it off; but I can't see the voice of superman being a good match for Sephiroth at all at the moment.

i always thought that he would have a dark, scary voice... not a heroic manly voice >.>;

I actually had always figured Sephiroth's voice would be more like Perfect Cell from DBZ. Deep and Charismatic, but kinda dark at the same time. Sort of like an Anti-Superman kind of sound to it.

we've all seen advent children with subs... hurry up SE

Fans of anime movies who prefer dubbing over subtitling are a minority.

True that. Though, I've watched the movie with subtitles so much that I can actually watch it in all japanese, no subtitles, and understand what's going on. :D

Instead of picking up a book you could always just go play FFXI as that involves alot of reading. And alot of people prefer subs because dubs can sometimes butcher the anime. Of course some people just like to read...its one of lifes many preferances. On a side note though subbing is usually better simpley because you almost always get the anime long before you get it dubbed :D

Rawr it's finally(supposedly) coming in April? Good, didn't download the "leaked" version because of my personal ethics. Least I'll finally be able to see it, with extras to boot.

the guy playing Yazoo is Kakashi in the english version of naruto :P and Red XIII is Gaara from it. And like... half the actors here were in Cowboy Bebop (not all of the major rolls but ya.. not bad actors). This looks promising.

I'll never understand the mindset behind this. Watching something in japanese wont help you achieve any higher level of "geekness".

The realistic reason to watch something in subtitles, is because many of the american dubs pic cheap voice acting to just release it.

But theres plenty done very well, take Golden Boy for example.

i personally like what they did with those characters, so i think that this will do really well. ('sept for gaara... that just did not seem right to me...)

Some of the voices were good, but did you hear rock lee and Gai? That made me want to punch through my tv it sucked so bad.

They better not F**k the movie with these vocies. Even if they do i will buy it but thats beside the point. I hate seeing good movies/anime in jp brought to english then butchered like a fish.

Rick Gomez is playing Zack. I love Rick Gomez. In case you don't know, he's George Luz in Band of Brothers, as well as Endless Mike Hellstrom in The Adventures of Pete and Pete.

As for the guy who played Superman playing Sephiroth, I'm thinking he'll do fine. Usually voice actors for cartoons are talented at changing their voices around (take Hank Azaria in The Simpsons for example, who does practically half of Springfield's voices). So I'm thinking he can pull it off.
