Ok well not being in America i dont know if its been released over there yet, just wondering if any one can tell us if it has or hasnt been yet. Just been checking my normal site for it and just noticed it says it was announced to be released in America first quarter of 2005, just wondering if it was released start of this year?
 
Release date is September 13th
 
Delayed from Sept. 13th? Release date in Japan was Sept. 14th, and both those dates were included in the official trailer.
 
NA release got moved back to november
 
Damn, cause it was kinda ironic that my friend was shipping out for basic training the same day Advent Children came out, though he STILL has no hope to see it at the release, lol.
 
Is the release in Japan changed as well? And why exactly was it pushed back?

nope, japan still gets it sept 14, AND thet get a better special edition than we do.
 
Damn, well I'll have to encourage my Japanese friends to go see it, bootleg it, and ship it over here damnit!
 
I just went to my local GameStop today, put $10 more down on my pre-order and asked the clerk (a friend of mine) when it was coming out. (Note: I haven't been to GameStop or the mall in a good while)

He said it was coming out in November.

:? Oh well, better than it not coming out at all.
 
i just picked up this months electronic gaming monthly mag, Which is focusing on all the new FFVII spin offs,
and the push back is so we can get the special edition the same as japan.
only problem is..>The special edition will be 300 dollars, Which id rather use to buy an xbox 360.
I really want the special Re-release version of the PS1 FFVII tho :/ that and the cloud and fenrir figure are the only things that seem worth it....but not at that price.

And a direct quote from SE in this mag states
"There will be no ps3 FFVII remake, the tech demo was made to show off the systems graphics. This and this only. "

and this quote from the president of sony...which makes me look forward to the PS3 much less.

"I will not be announcing the price of the PS3 today, im going to only say that it'll be expensive"

That quote, has made me lose all faith in sony...which i lost most of it when they lied to us about the HDD and all the stuff coming out for it....that never came..

But, the other games are lookin spinning off FFVII are lookin pretty cool, im really interested in the Zack based game for psp and dirge of cerberus looks sweet too.

Cant wait for advent childeren, readin the article has left me with many questions, i need answered by watching the movie!!
 
There's a lot of rumors going on about the PS3 (I've also heard it WILL support FFXI) And I've read the same mags. As for the Remake of FFVII, they said that there's a lot of projects going on now, BUT it's a definite possibility, but remaking FFVIII is more likely to be first. I'll type up the articles when I get a chance, but it's 2:40am and I'm sleepy. :/
 
FFVIII remade first? O.o pfft.. prolly cause they realized how crappy it was and how much it needed an overhaul. FFVIII sucked >.> FFVII > all (except FFVI and Xenogears)
 
So adventchildren has been out in cinema for you lot?
 
no only japan has had it premiere in theatres, America wont get that. Just the dvd.
and no im not kidding about the 300 dollar special edition...thats the actual price... :x

actually i prefer FFVIII over FFVII anyday. It happens to be my fave FF after 6. Only problem i had with it was long summon times, beyond that it was a great game. IT has had more replayability than any of the others for me, as ive completed this one several times...and the others maybe once.
 
300$ for the special eddition? what the ()@*# is that about <_<? i havnt read anything about the special edition... but how can a movie, which is usually around the 20-30 $ range... cost 300$? how do they expect a kid still in high school to afford that T_T?
