Hit 20 and got my first stigma...pretty cool stuff. After the cutscenes for that mission I feel like I just started playing the game.

I'll be around tomorrow to dig into the pvp scene a bit more after I go drink my face off tonight for the 4th.

Lmao. In other news! Me and Reya slung some Elites today for OMGZexp. That was insane, I hit lvl 15 and then some after you logged.

Is it me right...or is the Asmodian area just extra fucking difficult compared to the Elyos...with my Elyos Chanter, I've died like all of twice...my Asmo ones been getting man handled...it's not even funny

lols, what class are you playing? As a Gladiator I only get killed if im fighting something like 4-5 levels or higher than my level or its a boss type or if I start a hard fight with half my health or something. Otherwise I can handle most things, even solo.

Lvl 15 and I've died maybe 5-6 times, some of them were due to stupidity on my part. Sorry Reya. >_>;

lol it's all good. Elites are awesome to farm if you have 4 people at least but I think we did rather well! Me and Resputin farmed them with a chanter and gladiator and gained half a lvl off of like 5 mobs it was instane. (10k a pop)

We ended up finishing two more mission quests and got our earrings and shoulder armor I think at release if we can get a group of 4-6 together we could probably bang them all for a zone pretty quickly. We were able to finish a level 19 mission quest with a full party of 14s pretty easily

Oh oh! In other news.... lookie what I found...!

Elyos land has pretty sunshine D: Rift... (Found It!)

I am a chanter and my bro is a hunter...I'm also tanking since it's easier to heal myself and keep mob as target rather than continuously switch between my bro and the mob. The lag really gets me sometimes it's such a bitch lol...

Yeah I got through the rift! When you move through the rift your chat log will tell you. You can see it in my screen shot! I was like this irl !!! So I ran around for a bit to look around then went back to Asmodian land.

The elites we fought were the kitty people past the east gate in Altgard. As a 14 templar in full plate, they were hitting me between 150-200 regular hits and 400 special attacks. We were fighting like 18-19 level elite mobs. I love having 2k hp *_*

and you've been playing longer than her??! You could also show locations of targets on your map by hitting "M" to bring up your map and then cntrl right clicking the location of interest. That will put the location in the chat window which you can share with whoever (just have to click on it and it will show up on their map - just like WoW).

I really like how when you select a monster on the map you can see it's aggro radius too! I also think it's cool when two aggressive monsters of a different type bump into each other with their pathing and start fighting one another

yeah...don't interupt their fight...they make peace and gang rape you instead...and yes...I am speaking from experience ; ;

Man, I am telling you the way to lvl in this game is to ffxi it up.

Seriously, get a full party together and farm elites, earning more than a lvl an hour this way. Me and Respu went from 16-18 this afternoon like that and are about 70% of the way to 19.

Yup! I dinged 20 Chanter yesterday morning working the elites. Got a bunch of nice greens (HQ Armor for the non Aion folk) and a nice bank roll from greens I sold on the Trade Broker. We're using our nice little fortunes to supplement our crafting (me on handicraft for mage type weapons like staves and jewelry) / Genna on Armorsmithing (she's made sets of green armor and hopefully blue soon). We're both capped the exp at 20 and saving the Elite class quests for next beta when the caps are removed. :wink:
