you beat my by two years....rdm/whm/Smn and I was always main healing...then today happened and I was like NO...not going down that road again...and in this Spirit master actually looks like it will do some damage!

You just have to make sure your Aether gathering is high enough. That shouldn't be an issue in that first Asmo city where Level 10's pop up. There should be Small vortex's (1p) where you can start your Aether gathering and work your skill up. The 1p small vortices will get you to level 41 (you stop getting skill ups @ 42) so start on the 25p vortices to further increase your skills. If you're just farming, the higher the level you are, the quicker it is for you to gather aether and therefor maximize your flight time. Get those flight +4 rings (I can make those now but not for j00 furbacks) to help you farming. :biggrin:
 
I'd post screenshots too but I keep forgetting to take them when I'm actually playing. Did some weaponsmithing this time around. Crafting isn't too bad in this game. Ran a bunch of 4-6 man Krall groups...place got packed towards the end of beta. Didn't get to check out the raid interface though- is there a decent raid leader panel to control group setups etc?

Thoughts after beta #2:

I can't wait to see some genuine dungeon crawls-- actual challenging PvE content.

Abyss is going to be badass.

I'm going to upgrade my preorder to the collector's edition

Also, I see Genna everywhere.

Nice pics Jaz and Reya. Jaz I'm still so impressed with how your game looks. :o *drools* This game is truly beautiful. I have fun playing even though I lag like a mofo anytime I enter a slightly populated area, and my game has little to no detail on anything. I really don't know exactly what my characters armor actually looks like. It's just ...grey and green lolz.

I finished up only at lvl 17, but oh well. I imagine I'd be higher if I had played the first beta session. I really enjoy the quests, most are even quite solo'able.. but undeniably easier with assistance.

I've definitely been having a blast as a Gladiator. The way the skills combo to chain is so awesome. I got owned by some other Gladiator in a duel though. I need better weapons and armor. ._.; What I have works for mobs, but in a pvp situation I'd probably get raped pretty hard.

Unlike FFXI you can actually take on mobs higher level than yourself solo, and still have plenty of hp left after kicking their face in. :3 Shout is an awesome skill.
 
A friend of yours Ecks and Reya? My brother, Jsnxtian, (Templar) was giving him some words of encouragement :wink:

Ana, from what I've seen, the raid interface is pretty bad ass. The Raid Leader can hotkey symbols (I'm trying to figure out how to hotkey) and assign symbols to targets on the fly, i.e. assign numbers to mobs in order of priority, which mobs to sleep with a "zZz" symbol, which mob is the primary target with a heart symbol, which raid member should be watched etc. When you hit the "L" key, it'll open the Legion window and you can drag the groups out and position them how ever you want on your screen. I'm not sure how this worked in WoW/Vanguard, but seeing we never had anything like this in FFXI, I thought it was pretty f'n sexy. Paired with Ventrilo, raids went nice and smooth with rarely any misunderstanding.

Hehe well, it wasn't nice of you Asmo's to come at (and kill) myself, my brother Jsn, and Legion friend, when we went on a stroll near your Ice Fortress Saturday night. 2 Asmo's saw us, called 10 of their friends, and we go pwned sooo bad. :facepalm:I even setup a bazaar stating "can we all just get along..."

Speaking of PvP... our arena in Pandem is crazy. There are like 30 people in there at any given time smashing faces. It's utter chaos. <3

Had I known more FFXI old schoolers would be getting into this game, my friends and I wouldn't have joined up with a pretty reputable Legion (Knights of the Divine Order - KDO) from Aionsource.com . Hey no big, we could always alliance up and take down Reya and her crow friends, which we do all the time anyways.

Haha, good deal. Yea, I'll probably be starting a Legion with a bunch of RL friends. So far, I have between 3 and 6 people coming with me to try it out. I'll be rocking out the infamous Karakul again as a Templar. I've been using that name for everything since ToAU's sheep mob back in the day haha. What server are you going to be on?

Lol hahah yeah those Brax are mean. Templars in this game are f'n bad ass. I would've rolled Templar but my brother is already rolling that job. I'll most likely roll Glad to add some Hurtsauce to the equation. The list of Servers isn't up yet but we're speculating their will be 12 servers for the 12 Empyrean lords/ladies of Aion. Our legion has talked about servers yet but I'm sure we will come mid August. I'll definitely let you all know so we Elyos can all hook up to lay some hurt on Reya, Ecks, and Falsey come retail. :biggrin:
