OH DAMN! Elyos side WILL BE AVAILABLE TODAY AS WELL!!!
 
As crazy as it sounds (or maybe not?) I was able to get the Daeva (wings, specialization) quest as level 9 in last closed beta. By the time I finished up the quest in Sanctum I was level 11 from quest exp rewards. So I'm guessing we'll be able to do that quest in this closed beta.

You can choose elyos in this one wut?

Yup announced on Aionsource this morning :spiteful: . Your char from the 1st beta is intact as well but will be level capped at 10. I have to do it all over again since my char is on a EU server, no biggie though.

If you want to roll with the heroes and not with the zeroes then YES! Going to kill my char on the EU server and remake him again on the NA server as Elyos. Got f'n which job this time around though.. T-minus 3hrs 20 minutes!

Elyos get all the hot babes! Why do you think Asmodians want in? Cause they got stuck with the cows.
 
Each race has advantages and disadvantages. Look at the skill listings for each job/race to see them. I just don't want to look at furry mullet backs and clawed hooves while running around (as far as I know you can't change camera angles to 1st person). But, I am gay so I suppose it is fitting I chose Elyos :P

You can change to first person if you have a mouse with scroll wheel and just zoom all the way in.
 
Pretty slick. Runs amazing on my machine, no hitching at all totally maxed out. Sound is pretty awesome too. Pretty game.

Gameplay seems like it will be pretty fast paced later on, but for now its your typical start to an MMO.

I am Anaeran, an Elyos Scout on the server with the shorter name.

I also see people level 15-17 running around in guilds and everything, so maybe we can go higher than 10?
