Well, oddly enough I thought I already posted my weekend activities but I guess I apparently did not.
I left off last beta with my assassin being lvl 15 and I only gained 3 levels this time around, stopping at 18. I spent most of my Sunday working on leveling my gathering and did a little aether collecting too. Went from about 56 to 91 on gathering and 3 to 33 on aether collecting. Aether collection is a bitch XD. Having to watch your flight timer and hope your collecting doesn't take too long, because sometimes it seems like it takes forever (even though it doesn't really).
I also created an Elyos mage, but didn't really play too much of it. I'm still in the starting area and he's hanging out at lvl 7. I did actually see a few "NMs", I don't know Aion's term for them, but I saw at least 2 different ones. One was actually in the Eylos noob zone. It stood out because it was a white colored deer whereas the normal color was brown (forgot the mob name) I freaking killed it too, but it linked a second mob like it and well lets just say mages wear paper armor and most of my mana was used up.
The second one I fought was on my assassin and it kicked the shit out of me. It called Armored Stoffu and it was a black petroleum type mob, but it spat out tiny little babies of itself and that's where I got overwhelmed. I think the fucker must have spat out like 7-8 while i was fighting him. >< I was kicking his butt until he did that lol.
Also on my asmodian, I found a fun little way to get to Impetesium from Trader's Berth and consequently also found a really quick way to get to the portal that leads to the next continent where the starting mobs were lvl 23 insects. I'm sure you aren't suppose to be able to get there, as the area was not very detailed and I found out it's actually suppose to represent the real zone. There was no music, no mobs, nothing but some scenery until I zoned through the portal. Zoning back through the portal a second time takes you on the other side of it into Impetesium. I discovered the area, because I always wanted to check out that pirate ship in the water below Traders Berth and I wanted to see what that other object on the ground was, sadly I was disappointed as they weren't anything special and the ship was in water that's too deep. But I decided to climb and glide up the mountain side.. and this area was what I saw so I went to check it out.
Here's some pics from the crappy end of the visual spectrum. Unfortunately they're all I took this round.
