Naw, you don't suck. Assassin's just aren't made to take on more than 1 mob at a time. It was a very rare occurrence that I survived a fight when fighting a mob of same or higher level and had a link or secondary aggro.

Now 1 on 1 is a different story. Assassins are beasts 1v1 pve or pvp. Unless you're fighting a friggen cleric. *grumble*

It's also helpful to work the elites a couple levels lower than the posted elite level i.e. Kaidan mines where elites are 29-31.. so keep the party level in the 26-27 range (minimum 5 people with decent gear, 1 being a Temp and another a Cleric). Mobs 2 levels below you give 100% exp, and if I remember right, mobs 1-2 levels above you give 100-110% exp. 3 120%, and after that, exp actually seem to go down, in order to discourage powerleveling.
 
Undercon will be playing on Triniel for the Open beta at least. We may or may not change servers come launch, but for now that's where we will be if anyone was wondering.

Yay for servers crashing before the open beta starts and me somehow getting banned for non-payment before you can even pay for the game. I'll try to get on again later tonight.
 
Im gona have to spend the night downloading the client, should be able to play tomorow if the download doesnt fk up again.
 
So they are bringing down the servers to fix the Asian settings that basically limit playtime by cutting of experience gain and success rates after 6 hours of play. Hopefully they also fix the insane lag issues that require you to log out and check for fixes on your patcher.

Closed beta went better than this so far lol
 
The lag is pretty bad..but those servers are pretty damn full. I'm thinking they will have to pull a WoW and add servers ASAP. I think i saw all but one or two with a high pop and a wait time.

Gen had the same problem, but we attributed this mishap to her not changing her password when NCsoft sent the notice a while ago. After she changed her password in the account management section, everything was kosher.
 
I do not like that they changed ALL the server names for EU =( My friend had talked with his guild and got them to go to Ariel, and I had talked to my guild and they were going to Ariel too, in which case me and my friend would be able to play together.

But with the changed server names, I don't know who will go where.

But I'm playing with my RL friend and cousin!
 
I just tried patching today. Got to around 75% and when I came back 45 minutes later to check on it, it gave me some errors and said the connection had died. Now I'm back at 2%, alright!

This is ridiculous.
 
Use the torrent, getting the patch with the launcher will take forever.
 
I have given up for the night on trying to play the Lag was just to much. =( Well I hope everyone else was having better luck.
 
I think the lag will get better once everyone is not in the same area.

Damn, Abyss will suck...
 
I gave up downloading from aion website, fileplanet seems to be doing alot better. hopefully when I get home from work it wont be too long to wait.
