SE has officially come out and said that they've already drawn the names for second wave of invites. In an earlier interview they said for this phase they plan on opening at least 1 more world, which means at the very least the same amount of invites as Alpha1 will be handed out.

This can only mean 1 thing; Alpha1/Beta2 will start in June, likely at the beginning of June. I'm guessing the invites will be sent out around June 1st, along with instructions of when it starts, with the alpha/beta phase itself starting June 21st (this is pure speculation though).

For this phase they have readjusted the exp system, the battle system slightly, made Battle Regimens easier to perform, and added more instructions for the game.
 
I doubt it. I think there will be at least two more rounds before open. I remember reading an interview where they were speaking about wanting to have the second phase be more people but still not having all regions able to access the servers 24/7. The third phase being more servers and 24/7 access. Then maybe open beta.
 
From what I understand, it's either going to be Beta 1 -> Beta 2 -> Open Beta, or Beta 1 -> Beta 2 is Open Beta.
No matter what, they've said they want the PS3 beta to start at Beta 2, which'll also be when they start keeping the servers up 24/7.
 
Got my e-mail this morning saying I got an invite for the next wave! Yeah! :fapfap:

More like Alpha1 > Alpha2 > Beta1 > Beta2 (including PS3) > open beta (a month before release)

Server Stability Issues

* Server stability issues have plagued the alpha, and the developers apologize that players cannot fully enjoy the basics of the game.
* At first, there were many more players than they had expected, but recently the number has shrunk considerably.
* Phase 2 of the alpha will begin once they fully stabilize the current World. After that, they will add a second and third world.
* The next round of testers has already been chosen for when phase 2 of the alpha begins.

They select each and every participant of the Alpha, but they... didn't expect so many people to try and log on?
Am I missing something here?
 
Probably weren't expecting as many concurrent log ins as they got.
 
Still flying over my head, unless they just didn't look at what region each player was from.
 
Simple answer is that people were on more than they expected.
 
From what I've played so far, this really isn't ready AT ALL for more people to hop on the servers.
 
I'm so damn jealous of all of you. It's because of my 1GB of space that I didn't get picked isn't it SE?
