Amazing Blind Gamer

OMFG this is funny.WHy you wanna play a video game when you can't even see.... i know playing soccer when blind makes sense. But video game is something you need to see to enjoy it.Other its like pressin buttons and thats it lol

Button mashers play on eddie.... i'd own u anytime with king in tekken lol

Yeah, Tekken, DOA, and Soul Calibur do have Button Mash friendly Characters. Eddie Gordo, Christie Whatsherface, Dunno the current BM DOA Character, haven't played any of the recent ones, and Maxi of Soul Calibur. If these characters didn't exist, Namco and Team Ninja would lose a lot of fans.

However, someone who takes time to learn combos, parries, and counters will always be able to beat a button masher. However, there are times button mashers do randomly enter in the ultimate move for the character they play, and can win that way.

That is so true. I wouldn't even be into games if I didn't see how good the graphics are. The cool character designs and all. I guess in his case, he likes... pressing buttons, and listening to the sound effects. (and feel the controller vibrate?)

god the guy is FUCKING BLIND

and u cant even commend him... christ some of u guys have ur own e-wangs shoved so far up ur assholes...

i give props to the guy for doing something that even people who can see have a hard time doing sometimes... the fact that he can play without seeing is amazing enough... you guys dont have to emphasize that the game is a "button-mashing" game. See how good some of you guys would do if you couldnt see...

mr button mashing up their is lying, ya mortal kombat is easy but soul calibur is a bit tricky against somone who knows how to play

And my point is, he's not being pitted against people that know how to play as far as this article can prove.

I'll quote the article again:

Article said:
"How do I move?" an exasperated opponent, Ryan O'Banion, asked during a battle in which his character is frozen in place.

What person who has played MK more than one time only, doesn't know about sub-zeros freeze technique?

I'm not giving him pity props just for being born blind, doubt any handi-capped person truly wants that. However I will commend his dedication to this challenge, and end with saying that I believe this article over-hyped this person's ability only because it is a rarity to see someone blind attempt to play video games.

Lets see here, so, what you are saying is....... it makes sense to play a high contact sport such as soccer while blind, but it doesnt make any sense to sit stationary and let your ears be your eyes and do what most people think is unthinkable without being able to see?

Not to take anything away from this kid, but all fighter games suck and just require mashing button combos over and over.

Street Fighter takes REAL skill. The rest is garbage.
Have you ever tried soul calibur 2 on the hardest difficulty? Try button mashing that...
