qft. Thats probably the only decent part about the show. It makes my sides burst when the really talentless ones think they have talent and epicly fail.

Also needs more metal.

Tool's cover of No Quarter was pretty awesome. I'm not going to exert the energy to find a video because no one here probably gives a shit about Tool or Led Zep.


And Fuck American Idol, I fuckin hate that show. They perform the shittiest music and the shittiest songs.
 
Yeah I'm not a fan of this show at all. I think the only time I've watched it was the try outs at all the people who were god awful and yet they thought they these amazing beings and were just shocked that the judges didn't feel the same way. Then I would go out or turn on something actually worth watching.

I loved that cd. My favorite covers they did off it were "War Pigs" and "Strangers in the Night."

Quoted for truth, because Tool is amazing and so is that cover.


and speaking of people who suck, I've always wanted to get a friend to go audition and do as bad as possible just to end up on TV. Would almost be worth it D:

Tell that to the million or so people that watch the show weekly. American Idol done many good things for the community, and just go to show that anyone can be a star. I don't agree with there choices, yet obviously a good amount of people that vote do not have good taste in music. Yet to say that the novelty has worn off I would not say that. It still one top rating show on it night, and as for reality tv shows go (which I personally don't like) is the most bearable to watch.

Yes tool is a great band.

Also Lucuna Coil version of Depeche Mode's enjoy the silence is another great cover.

Blake lewis however did nice performance of the Bee Gees "this is where I came in" Hope he does the cover think it was one the bee gees best songs. One of the few that was worth watching.
