I'll try to get the points as the post goes along. This'll be fun I suppose.

First off, if there are items being deliberated on in the Moderator's section, I don't think it's too much to ask that they stay back there. The reason I had requested this was mainly when Bumblebeetuna was unbanned. In the background, we had all kind of said that he should stay banned but then Reeve unbanned him. Everyone seems to have a boner for hating Reeve around here so I tried to just calm it down. It's hard to do that when I had RaidrX telling people that's what happened. Is it the truth? Yeah. But is it something that people really need to know? Not really. How has he been as a user? I haven't seen anything wrong with him. It's the simple mob mentality. Let's not try to make this whole thing a conspiracy and we have so many secrets in the background. But sadly, everyone thinks its the cool thing to go after the mods. I noticed you mentioned that if its something that affected the users that they should be notified. They will eventually though. And who cares for the reason that BBT was unbanned? All I asked was that sensitive material not be posted outside of the mod area.

I basically directed the comment about people not being able to post what they wanted as moderator to you. Time after time you would post against what was going on. Or felt the need to get your two cents in. That post that was deleted because the thread was closed. So what? You felt the need to post your two cents after I had closed the thread in the SAF? News to you buddy but anyone else who had posted that would have it deleted. I'm sorry you are so hurt by it but if you haven't noticed, people always looked for reasons to shit on moderators. If I let you keep that post up then I'd be getting yelled at for favoritism and you'd be abusing your moderator powers. Didn't think that way though did you?

When I spoke about why I got rid of the moderator group and gave examples mostly of you that was...because I was talking to you. Raidr, your moderator log showed the last thing that you did was on the 23rd of October. Before that, the 9th, before that, the 28th of September. How about Isollde? Her last activity as a moderator was on September 26th. I'm not counting Taurothar in because I know the guy IRL and he told me he didn't mind that it happened. So bravo to him for not acting like a child over this.

So now that you have everyone in the public thinking "Oh man, Miros is a dick!" let's try to clear some items up.

I've really done my best to keep out of everyone's business, but I really need to start kinda saying hi and just make a request.

I try to keep this place fun, but I am going to kind of expect a certain amount of professionalism when it comes to someone in a moderator position now. Please from now on, if you have to lock, move, delete, give warnings on the board, please give a reason as to why you are doing it and sadly...almost keep it robot like.

If you are posting elsewhere on the boards, try to be respectful of the forum you are posting on. Please follow the rules set forth so people won't have ammo. If we don't follow the own rules that are set forth, we are really giving a poor example.

Also, please stop by this forum once in a while and say hi. lol Give us an update on what's going on with your forums, how you think they are being handled, what can be improved, or if you think they are kosher here and there. I'm not saying give me a daily report but just stop by once a week and just be like "Hey gang, things are going good on my end and I'm still here." I've had a few incidents where super mods just left without letting us know. It kinda sucked to be honest, so I just need to know that you are all here, with me, and on the same page.

This last thing is a slight bummer for y'all I think. With the recent influx of users, I've gotten a few notices from new users that it's very confusing with the color codes. While I understand they are nice, we will have to bring the moderator usergroup to one color. You will not lose your custom banner though.

If anybody has a problem with this and would like to step down for any reason, please let me know. I'm obviously not going to hold it against you. I will just request that you all do your best to follow what I've asked here. I say again though, if this makes you uncomfortable let me know. I won't be upset or hold any malice if you decide to leave. I can understand how junky it is to be in a position of power sometimes. I miss being QCDN's #1 fag.

I never had anything against Iso really either. Until now that is. I know you are going to use her sob story as a way to make this flame look legit since it's you as the poster. Well, since I know that you, her, and Moink have been chatting it up it's obvious that this is just a group attack. So here's the whole thing with Iso. I wish this would've stayed between you and I, Miros... but for some reason you wanted the other mods and admins involved. If its to set an example of you putting down your foot then... ok?... Congrats... Keep this one private.

When it comes to issues on the board, I always get my team involved. It's what I talked about with communication with the team.

I understand where you come from Miros and I accept what your way of thinking. However, I don't agree with it. Unless you are completely blind, the mini mods were doing their jobs and kept their part of the forums clean. Isollde kept art about art, Raiderx kept the gamers at bay with their ego and moved threads when he needed to (Unless he doesn't have that power) Taurothar kept RSI in RSI and Off topic in off topic...

I believe you can speak for Iso, but you cannot speak for any other moderator. Raidr told me yesterday in IMs that he "basically didn't do anything". Also, he is friends with Makelith IRL and I have heard from Makelith regarding him. So you can stop trying to stick up for Raidr. Taurothar? Moink, I'm friends with him IRL. I went out to dinner with him this evening and his response to this was "It's not a problem, I usually only acted when you guys told me about an issue." So really, that just shows that you are overreacting.

Just a FYI, Raid was ready to flame you for that move you did. So no... he wasn't as mellow as you thought he was.

What does it matter? Raidr always spoke his mind whether it was for or against the team. Not in the background, but always in front where people could see that it was an unstable team.

In anycase, communincation is one of the best forms of being in a team, but so is eye contact and if you cant see what your mini mods were doing then idk what to tell you... start reading? Honestly... do you really want everyone to tell you "everything is A OK" every week?

It wasn't just an A-OK every week. It was also requesting suggestions to help their certain board out. And don't act like I waited a week and said GTFO. I waited plenty long for...anything. I got nothing.

Isollde worked her ass off to get the art work to be about artwork and she tried her hardest to get more viewers involved. IF you could NOT literally see that OR the amount of signatures she made for viewers a DAY... then you should maybe look at her artwork thread.

Frankly, if she did that only because she was a moderator, then that's sad. There's nothing stopping her from making more signatures. So what? She can't make them now that she doesn't have that little moderator banner? Doesn't that seem a little childish?

The contest YOU and Her speak of was put on hold by you, YES i'm aware there were financial problems and thats understandable, BUT when you say to please until november to see what can be done, Follow by it... it is now NOV 22, 2008 and the only thing Iso got was a thank you for your service now good bye. Not ONLY this, but she did requests for YOU on the fly, which means short notice and lil time to do it in (For example: 4th of July Banner).

Have you taken a look around these boards lately? Do you think I'm sitting here staring at the calender waiting for it to be November so I can talk to anyone about a contest? I have quite a bit more to deal with on the website then that. Why didn't she come to me? Why didn't she take the initiative to just remind me?

I appreciate the work she did, I won't deny her that. In fact, nobody is denying the type of artwork that she does...or did. She could still have made banners or signatures. It was her choice to request they be taken down and her signature request post closed. Did you know though, that I came home to find an e-mail with a new banner attached to it? Even though I had asked no one to make a new banner?

When your the leader in the team, be it... dont act it. You want you're team to like you and to communicate back to you then, and they're either too busy doing something or forget to post about "how their week was" then YOU should stay intouch with them. Being a leader is a two way street and right now... all I see is you acting one ... not being one.

Also, I know you said to keep this between us but this was not my decision alone and I feel that I should add on the co-admin for the site with this. He doesn't need to respond, but should know what is happening. Whether or not you like it, this is a problem on the board and I would like at least Arc and I to know the whole story.

I actually liked Isollde. She does some great art and signatures and it's ashame that this shit had to go down but there was no reason for the lesser mods anyways. It was a fucking status symbol in the last couple of months.

My final two cents...I'm sorry that you and Iso failed. I never asked for a lot and when I did, it was a slap in my face. I really don't agree with any of this. Regardless of what your first bit may say, this is a post whining about the decision.

First of all, you yourself say that they didn't bring much to the table. So why have you AT said table? You didn't "take up space", but you weren't doing much either. With power comes responsibility, yadda yadda. If you didn't really have a responsibility, chances are you shouldn't have power. I mean, if Miros was mean or something in the PMs, or was just like "You are no longer a mod" instead of something like "Thank you for your service, but it has been decided to disband the mod group. Regretfully this includes you." or something without a hint of kindness, maybe I'll give ya the benefit of the doubt to be pissed off. Not that I know either way.

As for the PM thing, I'm kinda surprised people are miffed at this. Your work emails, your ISP emails, your hotmail addresses aren't entirely "private" either. If there's shady business going on, they can investigate it. Breaking of laws and such. So why is there such an outrage about PMs saved to a forum (privately "owned" and operated), when a similar situation, albeit on a much smaller scale, occurs?

There was no reason to have you as mods. No reason to necessarily take it away, but if there are 4 people with keys to a house, and only 2 people live there or have any stuff there, why have those other 2 keys out there? Perhaps they didn't tell you really before hand because they knew your reactions might turn out as they did, and to avoid any potential abuse.

I also don't understand what you're complaining about. It's not like you had any real special benefits. You weren't held as a high reputation for modding a forum. What's the result of all this? Oh no, you have more free time. Oh heavens, won't someone think of the children.
