Wii Animal Crossing: City Folk

Added you both to the OP and my friend roster. Don't be strangers now!

I now have all fruits including the elusive coconuts. I also give gifts to people, lotsa gifts.

Give me all your fruit! Some new trees I was planting died.

Unless my router decides to revolt, the gates to Tonberry should be open until around 2 p.m. EST. Feel free to stop by and drop off foreign fruits, ha-ha. There's also a tonberry and Punisher pattern at the clothing shop.

BABOOM!

That is all

My listing can be updated. I finally hooked up the Wii Speak microphone yesterday.

Thanks for the apples, Gattsu.

I'll probably be signing up come January.

You shall surrender your fruits to me. :3

I'll be getting this game on christmas with the wii speak :)

Neyla doesn't have a Wii, but he set up a house in my town. For some reason, the game requires a code for each person. Here's his set-up. He asked me to post it so he could travel to other towns every so often when he visits my apartment.

Answer is probably no but, can this game be played as two player on the same console? Wife would probably love to play this with me.... but only at the same time knowing her and am not buying a 2nd Wii.

You can't play at the same time on the same console, although you can each set up your own houses and live in the same town. You have to take turns. That's not necessarily a bad thing, since part of the fun of Animal Crossing is writing letters and doing stuff that could surprise the other players when they play.

Native Fruit? Apples

Comment: I'd like some foreign fruit, welcome to take some apples :)

Please pm me if you added me on your friend roster so I can do the same, thanks!

Bumped, updated with all the new stuff.

Roster looks good now, but it's far from completion - anyone else with Animal Crossing don't be shy! It's all about interaction with others.

Updated the roster, we definitely need more people.

Looks like catching a lobster in Granger will prevent you from shaking bees out of a tree in January. Help yourselves to fruit/coconuts when I leave the gates open, I've got everything over-planted for profits and sharing for now.

Time Traveler? Did twice. but stopped
Native Fruit? Cherries
WiiSpeak User? No
Comment: Take all the cheerries you'd like, working on an orange orchard so try not to take too many. Only one coconut tree, want to expand. Be mindful of the flowers.

Town is relatively new, don't expect much yet. lol

I started playing again after a three week hiatus, and I have the most awesome bedhead. lol

Anyway, I just added everyone. ^_^

If anyone has turnips to sell, Nook is currently buying in my town for 372. I regret selling mine earlier in the week when it was only 132. /cry

Update: It's a shame the rest of you missed it. Devifoxx and Gattsu made a ton of bells traveling back and forth to my town. Devi passed me 3,000,000 bells for the opportunity, and not because I have this incriminating photo of him in bed with a leather daddy:

Here's a nice repeat. Today Nook is buying at 555 per turnip. My gate will be open all day. Naturally, I sold mine yesterday at 147. /sigh

Sheesh, I never see prices like those, not sure what to say about the incriminating photo though.... /shocked, just /shocked

Looks like Mario as an emo kid.

Are you an adult who likes Animal Crossing? Surprise! You're probably a pedophile! At least, according to Andy Anderson of the Mid-Missouri Internet Crimes Task Force.

If your kids play interactive video games, like the Nintendo Wii, be on the lookout. The Mid-Missouri Internet Crimes Task Force is warning of predators using games like, "Animal Crossing- City Folk," to target kids.

Using the game you create a character and create your own town and house. When hooked up to the internet you can talk to anyone across the country. Kids playing the game have no control over what other players might be saying. For example, the character we ran across could be the man in California police are warning about.

"There is no reason an adult should have this game," says Andy Anderson, Mid-Missouri Internet Crimes Task Force.

Anderson says adults playing "Animal Crossing" and similar games are likely doing it for the wrong reasons.

This is probably the same paranoid mindset that warned us of the dangers of the DS chat program.

Next up willl be a hard-hitting expose on how Pokemon leads to devil worship. Oh, wait...
