Tom Nook is evil! He's the evil little critter mastermind driving this game's unrelenting spiral into consumer hell. The whole purpose of the game is acquisition of goods so you can have the BEST house and the BEST town and lord it over everyone else and to train you to buy the BEST MP3 player and BEST car and BEST clothes in real life.

Even the charity feature (donating money to the residents of Boondox) nets rewards. If you get the Rainbow Feather, you can let people know that you're the BEST at thinking of others.

A traveling psychiatrist/comedian named Shrunk came into my town today and told me I should start doing therapy sessions with him because my character is expressionless. Strange.
 
My favorite villiager moved away today. She said I was the only nice person in the town. :(

I can see why she thought that. Pompous Elephant woman, Jock Horse guy, Preppy Rabbit gal, Selfish Cow chick, Shut-in Octopus dude, and an annoying dog boy thats obsessed with fish.

She was the only normal one there.

Hehe I just designed a shirt with a DRG in front of a THF and the word SATA across the top. I used the FF sprites from shakkars sig to make it happen. Current project: making a head/body pattern that looks like a DRG.

Nice Swishiee, Oranges and Pears are the only thing my towns missing. I have a complete beachline of palmtrees, a ton of apple and peaches, and a few gate-side indiginous cherry trees for visitors to take.

I have the pears, although I picked the tree clean to plant a few more. Just keep checking my town over the next few days.

PS - is there an easier way to plant flowers then having to go into the menu, pick flower, pick plant, exit out to move over, go into menu...repeat?

You can plant in 3x3 grids by just standing in a center plot and planting continuously. Thats what I do.
