Animal Crossing: Wide World

....ok please don't tell me that I need to water all the damned town's flowers every damned day.... WTF....

Yeah, that's annoying. There are times I want to rip every flower out of the place.

It's easier to just wait until you see one turn brown and then water it.

I was amused to discover you can pick up flowers and then transplant them in another spot.

Aww, you can't give random junk/fruit to the museum owl anymore to watch his reaction as he goes "thanks... but, yeah" XD

I loved tossing him fruit just to mess with him :P

I'd like to post a little warning to any "tree shakers" here, while it may be profitable to shake trees, you can still get bees (and stung by them >< ) in the winter months too ^^;

I plan to pick this up this weekend, my girl got me a DS for christmas. Will I like it? I'm a huge fan of the original on GC, I still play it to this day, is it the same thing just online and no nintendo games? If so...

i get 100 bells for every sting, so its a good thing.

It's not for every sting. You can only get one beesting pay out per mail cycle.

At most, that means 200 bells a day. If you get stung all before 5 P.M. 100 bells. Thats it. If you get stung once or twice before 5, then once or twice after 5, you'll get 100 Bells when you get your afternoon mail, and then another 100 bells with your nightly mail.

Catching Bees is ridiculously hard in this version, regardless. I've caught three since I've had the game. They're worth a tidy sum if you can manage though, after you donate one, ofcourse. And no, you can't get bees from tree during wifi/ds-ds play, so you can't have friends help you catch them.

How does the insurance work? I've payed that damn otter 2 times already and I dont seem to have the insurance, are you supposed to answer his questions in a particular way? Is it a different salesman. Also I tried not to buy it the second time but after 20 times getting the same responce after saying no i gave up and bought the damn "insurance"

First insurance covers bee stings, and falling down after visiting the fortune teller.

Second insurance covers fraudulant paintings from Redd. You must mail the painting to Lyle before the following Saturday.

I played around with Skaw and Gattsu in Gattsu's town for a few minutes. It was cool. Now I'm trying to go to Skaw's and it won't let me :(

Edit: Sorry guys. I finally got it to let me in, but then it said the connection is lagging. Probably because I'm sending files over MSN right now. We should try again some other time.

Got back into Skaw's town for a bit and he got to boot me out later XD

I swear your towns make me feel like a lazy hobo, but I'll catch up someday :P

That's an interesting place for a WiFi hotspot Jen, I've never heard of a McD's with stuff like that before. Gogo, USB adapter ^^

Nintendo and McDonald's worked out a deal to create WiFi hotspots to give DS owners more places to play.

In other AC news, I used repeated trips to other towns to sell off all my peaches and make enough bells to pay off my loan. I have an upstairs room to decorate.

Hosting a New Years Eve party, Tomorrow. First 3 to enter town stick are invited.

Hahahaha. Gabi in Skaw's town is calling me a ho-bag right now. That's hilarious. PS: I'm taking some of your fruit.

Oh, appearantly, Animals keep phrases you teach them when they move off to tows you've visited over WiFi.

I got Goose from Valcristel's town, and he's saying "Hell Yeah." He hasn't even unpacked yet, so I couldn't have taught him that. lol

Blanca wandered into my town today wearing a clown face with a star drawn over it, I did
something about that though XD

Update: I have started a new experiment in unwanted neighbor removal, we'll see how it turns out when the mail is delivered on Monday :P

Update to the update: apparently, giving animals trash (old tires, boots) that you fished up will still make them happy, and you still get a present in return. Back to the drawing board ><
