Why is it, in every Anime I have seen...

There is always this evil bad guy, who takes/tries to take over the world, beats the living crap out of the hero of the series and the Hero Wins...BUT..

When you see the women in the show...they slap them down and burn them and set them to explode or feel intense pain...yet the main character can never do anything about it?

Are the women of the Anime that much more badass, or are the Evil people trying to do all the bad stuff...just that much weaker?...

It would make you think stuff like Bleach, where Rukia would be stronger than Ichigo or something. Lol

Insight on this matter, please. =P Don't be too negitive

Watch more anime. Hope that's not too harsh.

Seems to me whatever you've been watching has been a bit high on the comedy side of things. I've watched a fairly extensive collection of anime myself. The only circumstances I've seen female characters make a mockery of a villan was purely for the LOL factor.

Ranma 1/2 has a bunch of that.

Yeah when that happens the situation is never serious or intense as it is when the hero is fighting the villian. Like with Bleach as you mentioned, when Rukia is beating Ichigo, it is not the same serious atmosphere as it was when Ichigo was fighting her brother Byakuya. Some of this occurs in Kenshin as well. We all know Kenshin could take Kaoru but yet she smacks him around throughout the series. This is nothing more than for comic relief.

It's because if you hit a woman all she has to do is fake cry and you become the most evil person on the planet.

She isn't a real woman. lol A real woman would knock your fucking head off for laying a hand on her.

Honestly, like Ecks said, it depends on the Anime. Faye Valentine could kick some ass, but she couldn't stand up to Viscious for example.

You seem to be under the assumption that it was the man hitting the woman first.
Half of my time stuck in the principal's office was from when people discovered i'm willing to hit back and usually the women got off quickly for the reasons i stated above.
I'm not saying that all women are like that. I'm saying that when dealing with a woman the fact that you are in a lose lose situation even if you simply decide to defend yourself can be a factor in how people respond to certain situations. eg female anime characters beating up the males when the guys are more than capable of beating them in a real fight.

uh oh I don't like where this is going...khaj put a hand to comfort zyn will you?

To the OP, I thought it was kinda funny honestly it keeps the main character from appearing so serious and austere and makes them seem more human like mentioned above Kaoru and Kenshin are the best example. Kenshin is a man that killed thousands and ultimately turned the war around while Karou is a strong willed person who doesn't take crap from anyone....

even if it's the Battosai(kenshin)!
