Anime Kills Kids?

People can continue to blame the parents for this kids death but what people have to remember is that no matter what there will ALWAYS be one dumbass to take things too far to mimic something they see on TV. While yes, parental advice can help prevent most cases of dumbfuckery it will not prevent it all. No matter what we do kids will try to mimic what they see. Whether it be on tv or in RL. All we can do it teach our kids and hope for the best. When shit like this happens it's both sad and natural selection.

Hell, as a kid I saw superman and thought I could be a super hero but did I try to stop cars/bullets or something like that? Fuck no, but I had a awesome ability to climb shit like spider man(even though I had a mishap with climbing a fence but I wasn't in my super hero phase and it's another story altogether...).

When I was a kid I did all the time because I knew it wouldn't get me hurt if I stuck to it. Yeah somethings to hell with my parents I didn't listen, but if you really want to blame the show by all means. It just shows how bad you are when it comes to the parenting aspect. You keep blaming the show, but you know what? The kid placing his head in sand should reflect on the parenting he received not blame the show.

I am not blaming the show 100% READ. I did say blame does rest on the parents shoulders in my first post. All I'm saying is the show TAUGHT the child about becoming a sand ninja. His parents didn't teach him about being a sand ninja. The show did. I doubt he would've wanted to become a sand ninja if he never saw the show. Where he got the idea of sticking his head in sand is beyond me. But him wanting to become a sand ninja is blamely on the show.

You're posting out of ignorance. No where in Naruto does it say stick your hand in sand, if anything it teaches you if you engulf your head in sand you'll fucking die, and you become a ninja. You don't learn how to throw shuriken from the show it teaches you nothing. The parents failed they looked for a scapegoat found one, and blamed the scapegoat. The parents are terrible hands down.

IF you actually read my post instead of just basing a argument, you would've read I had a disclaimer where I said I haven't really seen the show. Your posting out of ignorance 'cause all you think is I'm trying to blame a show.

Did I not mention where I said I would pretend with my friends during school? I watched Beavis and Butthead as well as Ren and Stimpy. I imitated them, but you know what? I never did anything they did that put myself in danger because common sense and what my parents taught me of fantasy =/= reality says it's fucking stupid to do. Then we come back to the parents failing as parents, and the kid not being bright. Stop praising a kid that did something that lacked complete common sense. He wasn't special smart he was just special in the poorly parented.

Being buried in sand isn't ALWAYS a risk factor. Burying your head maybe. But when you go to the beach you see people getting buried from legs to neck. This child and his peers not being supervised and not old enough fully understand every hazard, did something stupid, which killed a child. Only bad parenting I really see is no supervision of any adult which would've prevented his death.

People saying natural selection at its finest. Are you really stupid? If a mother leaves a bottle of windex or something laying around, her baby trys to drink it and dies. Your saying natural selection of idiots killed the baby? Mothers still alive and shes the idiot. Just because the child did this doesn't make him stupid, entirelty. They always say, the most essentric children are usually the brightest.

You really want to argue a baby's choice versus a TEN year old boy? We're not talking about toddlers here... this is a child that is well old enough to know better.

he's ten... they should have been watching him -_- that's what I'm saying. Not just "parental advice" but physically keeping a damn eye on the young child.

No I said you were posting out of ignorance because you never saw the show moron. Ignorance means you lack knowledge. So once again you're posting out of complete ignorance. The show DID NOT TEACH HIM HOW TO BECOME A NINJA. So just shut the fuck up and stop acting like you know what the fuck you're talking about. I'm not going to bother with the rest of your post.
