Anime Watchers Thread

I didn't really care for Gungrave all that much. A lot of the jumping around left me confused as to what was going on.

Another semi-obscure one is Baki the Grappler. Basically, it's fighting, plain and simple. The main character is a kid training to beat the strongest man in the world, who as always happens to be his dad. I saw two seasons of it, and I think there is a third, but I haven't found it yet.

I liked Gungrave when it was just the Mafia side of the story. I almost didn't watch it after episode 1 but I am glad I did. I just wish they left off the monster fighting and just stuck with the story development fromt he middle of the anime.

Elfen Lied... wait, nobody's actually said anything about Elfen Lied? Violence, lots of violence. Cute girls with tiny horns on their head use invisible arms to rip people to shreads, one escapes from the research facility and gets to the mainland, changes personality 180 degrees to hide with this kid. Go watch it, it's good. Also the source of Nana's Everyday Life.

>_o How the heck did I forget about Elfen Laid ...er.. *cough* Lied.. Laid is uh.. not quite anime. Anyway.. *slaps self* I own Elfen Lied so I'm not really sure how I forgot to mention it. It is quite awesome and gripping. Lucy is so awesome. :3

Lol, Elfen Lied. Not to be confused with Elfen Laid, which is an unrelated Hentai <,<

Ah yes, thank you for posting that. A friend of mine showed me this anime and I couldn't remember the name of it. I've been wanting to finish it. Only saw the first 2-4 episodes(can't remember). Was pretty interesting from what I saw. I'll have to start over anyway for I forgot a good bit of what happened. I remember the first episode being so random and weird but my friend told me it'll make sense at the end of the series so thats another reason that it hooked me. Please don't spoil it though for those that have seen it.

Original Animated Video or Original Video Animation IIRC. I've seen them be used interchangably.

I'm taking a guess here. I'm assuming that the way the story is told, I am able to watch it in the order of C and D, and it will still make sense? Least after I watch them in order of B.

I think OVA take places after the last espisode. It Japanese audio, with English sub. if you want them i can upload them on megaupload, just PM me if you want it

Correct. C is chronological, D is the DVD episode order. Yes, the final episode of the series is the halfway point.
