Another MMO

I think Stargate would be a better game as a single/co-op experience more in the vein of Gears or Mass Effect. Sure the aliens (humans spread through the galaxy mostly), are cool, and the mythos behind Ancients and Goa'ould are kinda neat, but what really made Stargate such a good show were the characters of Jack, Sam, Daniel and Teal'c. Having an MMO where people are rather non-descript, and not taking the SG-1 team out with you kinda destroys the core of the show.

Which is a shame, because I'd like a good Stargate game, but I don't think it works as an MMO.

You know, just because a game of the same genre is coming out, doesn't mean the developers are gunning to overthrow the top dog. Especially since WoW is fantasy, and this is Sci-Fi, they're two entirely different products with entirely different target consumers.
 
Because this is the forum i like the most! And who cares anyway, maybe it'll come to the 360 lol.


And to clarify, i said it makes the 3rd MMO coming out this year that will try to topple WoW. I never said their personal agenda was to topple it, though im sure it is.

Trying to do something means they're out to do it. So yes you implied it was their agenda to dethrone WoW.
