Another plane crash in NYC..

It's called neurotic - we as New Yorkers fit the description to a T. Jumpy, edgy, and desperate for this war on terror to be over. But if you don't live in NY then you really wouldn't know what it's like having a second plane crash incident especially in a wealthy neighborhood like the UES.

Your location shows Colorado. How does that make you a New Yorker?

Went to school there. sue me I haven't changed it. I live here now, have lived here before school.

Gotcha. Sorry for the mix up lol

now that i think about it i'm changing it... where in NY are you? I work on upper west side

Right now I am up at college in New Paltz. I lived in the Village.

I think we need to have a party for us NYers...

Ooo i know the theme we could use! when buildings and planes collide! It'd be like a heaven and hell theme except... buildings and planes O .o

And the Terrorists win.

Honestly, do people get frightened after a murder happens a few years after a serial killer has caused a stirup? How about a building catching fire a few years after an Arson goes on a spree?

Jumping to conclusions that it was a militant act is falling in to their hands.
It's natural to ask if it was a terrorist act. But it doesn't mean the terrorist have won (though I think they're winning for different reasons altogether) It's not like people where panicing and going crazy over it.

When we heard about an airplane hitting a building in 72nd street (and my school being in 68th street) no one got really scared or panicy, people went to the next room where they had a tv especially since it was probably extremely close, we saw the video, went "oh that's nothing" and went about. within 10minutes people where back to playing videogames on the ps2, or going to the higher floors to see if they could get a view of the fire. Some people used it as an excuse to leave early, while the biggest worry was an overeaction by the city (shutting down trains, etc..). My friend insisted we go to the offices to see if classes were canceled since he was gonna fail that midterm so badly, and me staying up till 3am playing with AV didn't make me too excited about the exam either, but we never had a "real" hope it'd be canceled.
