1. What do u think or respond when ppl use the bible as proof that homosexuals are evil? that God made a women and a man. "He made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve!" lol i heard that in Comedy central
2. What do u say to the ppl who use biology against gays? for example: a man and a women are perfect for each other, they each have a sexual gland that corresponds with the opther
3. Why is the rainbow a symbol of gayness?
4. Do homosexuals consider themselves girls or guys?
5. One ive heard a lot: Do u think homosexuality is something ur born with or do u aquire these feelings later in life?
Thats all for now. I hope i didnt offend anyone. Plz answer if u want, i would like to hear what gay ppl have to say about so called "gays are evil" proof.
I'm going to give you my opinion based answers. Now, remember, Opinions are like armpits, everyone has them and everyones stink.
1. I think, like a lot of things in the bible, the debate agaist homosexuallity is outdated. There are lots of things in the bible that people just stopped believing, because they don't fit with the times anymore (no shellfish, no blended materials on your clothing, so forth). I think "Homosexuallity is Evil" is just one of those things, and will eventually, (maybe in 5 years, maybe in 10, maybe in 100) be as outdated as some of the other things people laugh off (shellfish, so forth)
2. If you want to be technical, biology is an explaination for why same-sex people are attracted to each other as well. Sure, most females respond to males in a sexual manner, and most males to females. But, the same biology that causes that, also causes some females to be attracted to females, and some males attract to males. The proof behind this, is the fact that plenty of animals, other than human beings, engage in homosexual sex/relationships. One of the best examples I have, is a pair of penguins in a zoo (I forget which one) they had a family pair together for 10 years at least. And everyone thought the penguins were male/female (it's hard to tell, they were both wearing tuxedos! >_>), but they couldn't explain why the pair hadn't produced an egg. Finally, one of the penguins dies, and they realize that both penguins were male, and had lived as a "couple" for 10+ years.
3. The Rainbow is the gay pride symbol because it symbolizes diversity and unity.
4. Well, as a gay female...I consider myself a gay female...I can't speak for anyone else...
5. Personally (Once again, opinion) I think that homosexuallity is just the way you're wired. I knew at a very young age that I was attracted to women, and never disputed it. I grew up with a loving mother and father, no "gay" influance in my life, and by the time I hit puberty, I knew I was gay. I really don't know how it could be a choice. Would you knowingly choose a harder life for yourself? Would you knowingly choose to live in a way that you know would be prosecuted? I wouldn't. Yet if given the chance to start over, and choose...I wouldn't choose different. I'm happy being who I am, and that's all that matters in life.
I hope my answers were satisfactory for you.
