Anyone interested in helping to make a FFXI Parody song?

[Firestreak]

I've got a great idea, and the lyrics worked out. Just need someone to help because I sure as hell don't have a singing voice. Need a male voice for the parody. If someone else wants to make it into a music video to go with the lyrics they can, but my FFXI account isn't active.

Just a fun little project. Post here or give a PM if you're interested.

[Amidamaru]

Let's do it!

[Firestreak]

You wanna be the vocals Amidamaru? My AIM is Rednibia, direct contact always works best.

[Dancingweapon]

I don't wanna voice it because I really really can't sing haha. But I sure as hell would listen

[StanDarsh]

Talk to Chasym. This sounds like something right up his alley.

[Firestreak]

Amidaru is going to give it a try so we'll see. It's not an easy task though tho, it's a pretty advanced song that it's parodying.

[Amidamaru]

Hey Fire give me untill friday.. I got a cold and it isnt that i got a raspy voice but im coughing alot and I cant talk for prolonged time.

[Firestreak]

k

[Chasym]

if it dont work out as planned, hit me up. Ive been itching to pop out another parody but i dont play anymore so id be a bit behind on the jokes so no point in writing em. It would be awesome to get some sort of qcdn parody collab together, people write, i set it up, record, put all credit where credit is due and we got an album!

[Firestreak]

Yea Amidaru was sick so I gave him til Friday, then he was still feeling bad, so I said take his time, but it's like the next friday, so chasym you can have a shot. will explain the details over AIM.

[Torqameda]

Good luck on this... there hasn't been a good FFXI parody in a while that I've seen. :/

[Chasym]

sorry i didnt see this post fire, been goin through some stuff over here and got out of the house for a few days, im back home now and ready to take a crack at it so ill be on aim whenever.

[Firestreak]

If someone wants to take a stab at it, never ended up getting in contact with Chasym. Just need someone with a decent singing voice. I have a 2nd song idea too that could use either gender.

[Chasym]

ive actually been on aim all week waitin for you to message me, but didnt get one!

[Firestreak]

I dunno your AIM, mine was posted above, Red Nibia. ;o

[Firestreak]

Man, 2 people have tried to take this on and then just disappeared. If anyone else is interested give me a holler.

What kind of style of song is it? I know its parody but will it be parodying pop, metal, rap, Nyhm? (lol).

[Chasym]

i am still working on it, not that simple of a voice to duplicate! im fitting it in between work, gaming, and paranormal investigating. But i am working on it every chance i get! sorry i have not been on AIM, someone i dont want to talk to is on there so i havent logged in.

That's all classified, and I'll let Chasym keep at it as long as he's still interested. It's not a very easy song, and the original singer is no joke, let's just leave it at that.

[Chasym]

Im still working on it, wanna perfect it before i send it out. Im messing with alot of voice alterating effects to try to get it as close as i can. but it will be done, this i promise!
