SE Screw me Again?

#1- Okay First of all so you guys know where I come from.
A few years ago. I am talking back in the days when the Final Fantasy XI was the SHIT :"(,
I am not sure if you all know this but Thief's Knife use to be 90-100 million gils.
I went and spend all my savings buying the Thief's Knife after 0/79 fails getting the damn drop.
A few months later, Square Enix FUCKED me pretty hard dramatically dropping the price to below 100k... WTF WTF WTF
Fuck you SE this is the first huge screw for me.

#2- We all know that making gils its not easy, It is something that consumes a lot of hard work and time.
I don't know about you guys but sometimes I do my fucking homework farming...
I am a goldsmith & sadly not 100 yet.
As a Goldsmith you should all be extremely familiar with farming mats and gardening altogether, if you are not then you are a cheater.
Yeah because there are those of us who craft the right way, and those of you who craft buying gils taking GS in about a week to100.
Normally I spend a lot of time inside Oldton Movalpolos killing,
A- Moblin Pickman, B- Moblin Ashman, & C- Moblin Gurneyman.
I farmed this 3 types of moblins because the desynthesis from the mails give a very descent amount of Gold Ingots in return.
So can someone please explain to me why the fuck SE has minimize the amount of this Moblins down to a total of 11 now?
Where did the idea to minimize moblins population come from, when for the last 3years I've been farming them with hardly any competition.
 
Uh, ok, not sure where this came from but ........

#1: SE didn't screw you, you screwed yourself by paying 100M for an item you felt you HAD to have.

#2: Not all ppl who power level crafts buy gil, usually they transfer gil over to a mule and power level till they get to 100. As for the moblin population, it's always been low in oldton movapolis compared to newton, and even if SE did reduce the population, they may have plans for the area they haven't said or maybe they found RMT on other servers farming the same mobs and wanted to reduce it, thusly forcing RMT to move on. From my personal experience farming moblins is a crappy way to farm gold ingots anyway. Gold orc masks in davoi i found to be the best, guaranteed gold ingot if you desynth it and the drop rate isn't as bad as ppl make it seem. Plus, you can steal mythril coins and make more gil.
 
I use to farm Troopers but it was not nearly as good as Mails.
For me basically its a 50/50 thing on retrieving a Gold ingot from a Moblin Mail, sometimes yeah you can be unlucky, but that is hardly my case.
If you farmed them before you would know what I am talking about. For example now there is just 1Moblin Ashman, and he is all the way by the platforms that lead to Newton.
I say Ashman because their drop rates for mails is pretty good, and as far as Gurneyman they are down to 2 in the whole zone.
And you are right about the Population thing on both zones, but unfortunately the Mails only drop from 3 type of moblins.
And I don't think I screwed myself man, when you want something in a game you would do whatever possible to get it.
I think SE could have worked a way around Thief's Knife without making the price be so different like they did for Kraken Club, Or at least compensate those who had 1 before doing something so stupid.
This post was simply to see if u guys knew something I might have miss about the zone.
 
I can feel your pain on the THF knife issue, but I'm going to have to agree with Johnno. Just because the development team decided to open accessibility to the Thief knife up to more people doesn't really make their decision to change the pop conditions a "screw you" move to you. Is it bad luck and bad timing on spending so much gil on it? Yes. You've got every right to be sore about it, but it's really not a case of SE antagonizing you.
 
A little whiny? Seriously dude, you brought that on yourself for spending that much for the thfs knife. Wanna how much I got mine for? 70k (actually made my money back since I got drop and sold it for 120k).
 
back at the height of the nasty FFXI inflation I paid 8 million for a scorpy and about two months and a mess of rmt bannings later it was down to 500K! I complained but since the economy got better I decided just to forget about it...

Seriously now.
I have tried talking to most of you new guys from Midsgar.
More then half of you guys came to the server and host your own dynamis and limbus events, at w/e time you feel like it.
Shit doesn't work like that on this server.
Please if you are from Midsgar, have your people come here to check the run days for dynamis at least.
It would save a lot of unnecessary conflict if you guys can keep up with the schedule Morwen has helped us make.
You guys may think is cool to just come here and rush through a zone when you see another shell gathering up for dynamis, but that shit is not.
I'm having the same problems for limbus.
AGAIN PLEASE, if you are from Midsgar and you are in a dynamis shell, PLEASE have your leaders come check our schedules.

Is it bad that I'm wondering why there's a random s in Midgard before why it's in the FFXIV section?

but seriously I hope we can all get to a solution to avoid problems about this.
There is a reason why there is a Thread for dynamis so far, we've never had problems before.
It be cool to just get on the game and get things done as planned.
 
Not many midgardians read these forums, so allow me to help you on the way a bit before you make yourself look even more retarded.

- Work your problems out in-game with the leaders of said shell(s)
- If you don't know who the leader is of such shell, ask a member who the leader is.
Also try to do this in a mature fashion, if you talk to them like you do on here they'll just laugh at you.

If above doesn't work:
Post on some forums, the right forums!

Now mods, please lock this shit or move it to the right forums because this shit aint going anywhere.

Also after some investigation it seems you aren't in charge of a Dynamis group, please let your linkshell's leaders sort these things out.

Seems a little ODD to me that you saved up 100m for a Thief's Knife, yet still are not 100GS. You farmed this money...?
