And for the record, ask Arc or any other mod or admin about how much pull I had in the decision to unban him: none.

All I did was make the thread and nothing else. I didn't send out PM's or bother people on AIM or ingame. He was unbanned solely on the judgment of Arc or whoever it was that unbanned him.
 
Theres a simple solution to this. If you dont like a person, or dont like what they are writing, just ignore them. Hellstorm is hated by Jamal, Skaw, etc. So if you hate something that much, why put so much effort into arguing with him, calling him out, or anything else? Alll this time u guys have argued with each other, has it changed anything at all? If theres a decent thread going on, and hellstorm's post pisses you off, just dont respond to it, and instead respond to something someone else posted. It really is that simple.

It's not simple enough. Apparently, the ability to write a cohesive post and the ability to ignore a noncohesive post are mutually exclusive. It's a shame too, because both Skaw and Jamal are undoubtedly two of the most skilled/knowledgable players on QCDN. Think about Spiderman -with great power, comes great responsibility. I agree with them, most of the time, that indeed, the posts they ridicule are retarded. I disagree that they need to make a point of it. I too, read through the forums and find myself thinking "wtf", but it's just not worth making an issue of it. We're all well aware some people can't spell, or write a cohesive sentence, and that some people aren't very bright and spew misinformation like a butthole after a dinner at Taco Bell. Still, there are enough valid posts to comment on to make badgering the unpopular members unnecessary, especially when doing so usually finishes ruining a thread that could've been a good one. A stupid post bogs a good thread down, but the resulting flamefest kills it, and that's even worse.

This is essentially like one of the most central themes of most of the poor arguments and flame topics on this forum: Cries for attention.
 
I did the 'unban' as has been already stated. The reason I unbanned him is even there too. Jamal just wants people to think it is because I condone racism. Figured if I made another post in here, I could at least do it to set facts straight.

I'm the one who reported the post Arc, remember? I also posted regardless of the IP, dropping the N-bomb 5 times (I miscounted, it was actually 4) is a serious offense...this is the type of shit that should be moderated.

Btw, my post was 4 minutes after Elienfrib's original post so that you realized the situation. So yes, your post shortly after that confirming the unban and washing your hands clean of the situation does condone racism. I laid it out for you plain as day, son.

It's funny how those who lack a brain don't realize how much Hellstorm is disliked around here(Birds of a feather right there.) People have been banned for less. If I didn't tell him to shut the fuck up, someone else would have. I just simply beat everyone to it.
 
This shit has got to stop. I'm actually starting to appreciate Jamal, and, as far as I know, there's no fucking treatment for that, other than becoming blind, stinking, drunk. Fuck you, Jamal. Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you. You rock. Fuck!

blabj stepped down as a mod not because he was a bad mod, but because he was a poor example of a community leader with his ingame hacking. it was his choice but there was alot of people pushing for it.

on to elei, i have nothing against elei at all.. im friends with him and had nothing to do with him leaving the team. however, it was due to an abuse of terms as a mod.

so really, "manning up and doing it" applies huh?

Being a "Poor example of a community leader" sounds like being a bad mod to me. If you can't do all aspects of the job, you shouldn't have the job.


"Manning up and doing it" refers to doing the job. Stuff your personal issues aside and do the job as defined by the rules and regulations, and not based on your opinion of what you "should" do in a given situation. Some of you seem to be able to do it. Some of you just can't, and the community knows which are which. Deal with them or replace them.

You could always let them save face by pretending they stepped down on their own.

Skaw, instead of crying like a little bitch every chance u get, just ignore him. If someone else is gonna tell him to shut the fuck up, then let them do it. Theres no reason for you to pop a blood vessel every time he posts. Put the guy on ignore and move on.

How did u infer from my post that i didnt realize that hellstorm is disliked? I'm going to even assume that you took my post as a defence of hellstorm, right? No, all my post states is that if someone bothers you that much, why spend effort on them? On a message board no less. It's assinine. Then again we are talking about you...
