Argh....15 more days until FFXII :D

After 4 hours of playing, I think I'ma pass out for the day/night(aka a few hours, at the most 3) then resume playing :O
Been lvling in Estersand, got to 6 before I decided to go after my first Mark(the good ole RT), gonna go get my bounty then saves and quit for now.
 
Well I was laying in bed watching the 11pm rebroadcasting of Battlestar Galactica and almost got out of bed afterwards and drove to EB but I was too tired. I'll get it after work assuming EB didn't screw up and sell my preorder. :D
 
Oh man, one more hour till the door opens at bestbuy, they're giving away a little art book with the game.
 
I pre-ordered mine online so I'm hoping the mail isn't gonna screw me and make me wait. I'm expecting it to be there when I get off work then school. Sadly it probably won't be until around 9 pm when I get back. Work and school = looooong day.
 
I have to buy a new PS2 XD looks like my old one is too banged up from constant moving about over the last few years (or I could send it back to Sony to get fixed but I'd rather just get a new one from my father's friend for a cheap price :P)

Got it after school today around 2. Only game where you go from epic opening to "vanquish the rogue tomato" lol, but I can tell this is gonna be a great game.
 
Let's get some details on how its going? I can't wait till this friday ><
 
Got mine, the beginning starts out kinda slow...only level 5 though...but from what I've read up the first 3 or so hours are so supposed to be like this, then you actually get into it all.

Looks to be promising though.
 
I have a feeling this "Licence board" is going to piss me off :P

But i loved the Sphere Grid from X, so we'll see
 
The license board is actually pretty easy to deal with, surprisingly. =]
 
bah, mine never came in the mail. Now I gotta wait out another work day and school day to play it, providing it even comes in tomorrow.
 
Wow, I'm still in the introish areas(sunstones, enough said) and already played 9 hours, heh. Love the license board system, easy to understand, and not really a set path, just learn one license to unlock adjacent ones to learn. Did the other 2 mob hunts available after Rogue Tomato, *sorta spoilerish*













The 3rd, the cactoid, sucked, running away when taking some damage, then when low on health using 1000 Needles, tried him solo once, til 1000 needles wiped me out. When I got Penelo I went back, got him down again, 1k needles wiped out Vaan, but switched to Pen and raised him, then finally beat the cactoid lol. Love the mob hunts, to bad I don't have any more postings available for more atm :( Werewolves in Giza Plains sucked too, they conned white, but they kicked my ass, and have nearly 2300 hp ><

Taking a break for now, about ready to bust into the Palace via the sewers

7:49 into the game

I'm out of the starting city, and I think I'm done with tutorials.

I love the story and the voice acting, very well done, although I wish Han solo, I mean Balthier, wasn't british:biggrin:

I'm pretty bored with the combat, my team runs itself without me needing to interject anything.








BTW shouldn't we have a new thread going? This is an anticipation thread.
