I left the Maze at 1:35 so it's anyone's guess as to whether Argus/LK popped, but a good search of the area should reveal the answer for those looking to camp. Just a reminder, the window is 12 hours long so you must have patience if you want to get the item.

Don't count on that. Back when i was camping it "already got my PCA". Most people would just stay afk in the zone for hours after it last poped. I myself stayed in the zone for days to keep the search whores away.

Been camping every day since the last server restart, I haven't missed a single ToD since except once and I was able to easily get a reference time. 90% of the people there are there because they can do /sea which is why I post now. I don't care for them at all and I highly doubt I missed the pop up until that point. I spent my time camping only to spend hours until some random idiot pops in and gets claim with no work. All they did was search the area, see people camping and think it was a free shot. One would have thought I would have at least gotten a PCA by now, but SE and their infinite wisdom find it funny to make LK pop 6 nights in a row when no one is camping then when Argus finally does pop, its full of search whores who never stepped foot into the maze of shakrami until I did.
 
I'm assuming then you were the hume standing around near the iron gate while I was trying to find a chest key?

Went from 2 campers one day to 20 the next. Yah, all those people must have got the ToD from me... Get a clue. I didn't fuck anyone over that didn't steal the ToD from me in the first place. I spent entire nights camping alone with no one else as competition and no one able to even obtain the ToD, so how did all of them suddenly come by it? Not one of those people were camping the next day prior to my arrival and not even in an hour after I arrive, several others show up. That's not a coincidence, that's BS.

Maybe people just read the thread, and decided to set up their own camp ahead of time, so they could brush past you increasing their chances of a drop? I know its the obvious but most likely?

How can you really steal a ToD though?

It's actually common to steal a time of death. The idea isn't so much as to actually steal the time, but counter camp people when they go to camp the NM. The idea is simple. Let's take Behemoth for example. Behemoth is a HNM found in Behemoth's domain with a 21-24 hour respawn. If you wanted to easily obtain a relative time of death, just do a /sea all of Behemoth's domain and see who is in the zone. No one there, then the window is probably not open. A lot of people there, then the window is probably open. This works particularly well on Argus because no one experiences in Maze of Shakrami anymore. The zone is usually empty so if you did a search and say 10 people are there, I can guarantee at least 5 are at Argus. This is why I got so fed up in camping. I'd spend my late nights working to get the NM or at least a ToD, then the next day after all my hard work the spawn would be in the middle of the day, 10 people whom I'd never seen camping appear suddenly.

The worst part is in all the nights I spent camping late, only LK would spawn. I claimed him 3 times in total over the 6 straight LK spawns and not a single drop only to see two people who literally hadn't been in the zone for more than 5 mins claim and get drop.
 
we were in onzozo camping mystic for a friend one day. killing stuff for an hour and a half, and 10 min before she pops some blm comes in and asks us if nm is going to pop soon otherwise he's not wasting time waiting. (wtf right there) well he decides to stick around for a few and nm pops and he claims a nanosecond before my fast cast stun completes and Hornless's fast cast dia completes -.-
