I haven't camped him in a while...just sorta been busy with leathercraft.

THF/NIN can own this crab. I see elvaan THF/NIN just dodge everything he dishes out...but it isn't easy regardless... they do get hit eventually and if he gets too many lucky shots, dead THF. Also you probably need capped out evasion for that kinda stuff... good luck doing that. But I have no doubt a thf can solo him with the right gear.
 
I have evasion capped till about lvl 59 due to lvling PLD to 60 =P so that's a pretty good base to start at... but again THF is only 51 so I gotta wait a while =P
 
Don't forget RDMs. RDMs can solo him and make quick work of him. ;) Aquarius is very weak to magic whereas his physical defense is oober.
 
Seriouly I'd kill a baby for that harness, got a baby that's bugging you? send their name a scorpian harness to my mog house, it'll never bother you again. :twisted:

RDM got it easy ; ;...kinda makes me wanna level RDM just for that. I watch Era do it all the time...takes like 15 seconds to kill...maybe less. Chainspell bliz III All right!

Heres some NM math for you all

I have a friend who camps him all day every day and he tells me the spawn times to humor me i think lol, im no challenge to him whatsoever :(

I shouldnt have to say this but I IMPLORE the real argus campers not to contribute to this thread with spawn times.
 
I must say vang, you really have nothing to contribute to this board. This is about people actually cooperating. Get a clue dude.

Edit: If you want Argus camping info, try asking Phraust. Unless I have the spelling wrong, he was on the AH price history 3 or 4 times.
 
i am currently hunting this S.O.B right now, i have been on since that "big" maintanence, i have only been at the computer for one spawn of argus, which was the thursday after maintanence, fortunatly, i got the claim (i..kick...ass)

unfortunatly fucker didnt drop......

so as a message to you argus o argus FUCK YOU.
 
YEs, I know, last time i was there I had dia off because i didnt expect me and my bud would be camping argus. But halfway through cast voke beat me(well no shit but had i known ida subbed war). So, I can always try again...
 
I will say this right now.

And to Just ask for a spawn time is kinda insulting.
Considering I personally put in an insane amount of time into tracking the bastard, I would be really pissed if some lazy player got a free ride by just asking for the spawn time.

On a side note:
It was greatly amusing watching Mithy get killed from a malfuntioning bot... lol
As well as Schwall.

At least Schwall had a better excuse: he fell asleep with the turbo button taped down..

Mithy on the other hand said they made some kind of machine to automatically voke and attack.. Then had the nerve to say THAT wasn't a bot....

If you're extremely lucky, you can get him twice in 1 day (if he spawns).

I have to agree with Phraust on this one. I've got 4 Argus kills now, and when people I don't know ask for the times, I usually just ignore them, or say I don't know. I didn't camp him for the last 20+ hours to give someone a free ride to trying to beat me.

Also, I'm insulted that some people have posted saying that everyone that camps him regularly is a voke bot. I've never once used a bot, and I know for a fact that despite what everyone thinks, very few people bot there.

One of my claims I was healing when he spawned, and the 5 regulars there around me were all afk, obviously none of them botting.
